I forgot the company that they named however, they said it was a "very serious personal matter" and that they will be transferring me to someone to speak to and hung up. They knew me by name.

Received call to my cell.  I called back on my land line and got a RPM rep.  RPM had my number and someone else's name.  Rep claims he would correct records as a "wrong number".  We will see if calls stop.
 
This is a relatively new cell number for me.  I have started to receive many unrecognized phone calls.  Looks like I may have gotten some deadbeat's old number.  

They call several times a day and just leave the line open long enough to great a v/m.  If they are a collection company, they are not very good at it.
