Recording for automobile warranty extension. When I pushed the button to connect to a "representative", I was connected to a person asking for details on my car. When I asked how they got the number they hung up on me. [***]!

Got the call like 2 mins ago, didn't answer, no message left.

got call from this number about 20 minutes ago. Didn't answer. This is weird!

called 2 mins ago, didn't answer, no VM left on my phone. Any ideas where this came from?

Google Phonebook says this phone number belongs to one Jesse Cacciatore of 2572 Spinnaker Ave., Port Hueneme, CA  93041

I don't know anyone by that number,I recommend not answering it.

I just got the call on my cell. I answered without thinking. There was just silence. I don't use the cell much, it usually isn't on, but in the future, I won't answer if I don't recognize the number.

I received a call too but I did not answer it and they did not leave a message

They called my cell.  I didn't pick up.  I've been getting lots of random phone numbers calling me lately, and they never leave a voicemail.

I just got it also on my cell, picked up no one on the line.
I then called them back fast Bizzy siginal.

I rec'd the CALL @ 12:56 PST.

On my PRE-PAID phone, I SCREEN EVERY FRIGGIN call!  I did NOT know the person calling from the 805 area code.  I've only had this number a few months BUTT the SCAM calls are increasing. I DON'T answer, I DECLINED to accept...THEN I REPORT THEIR FUTHERMUCKING ASS!!!! GO DIE.....

I think the best think we can do is play along with the calls like this on cell phones get the companies name and and all the info we can then turn them into the FCC. This [***] is not legal.

NEVER ACCEPT THE CALL IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER!!!

ACCEPTING THE CALL ONLY LETS THE CALLER "KNOW" THAT THE NUMBER IS A "LIVE" NUMBER TO CALL CONSISTENTLY...

Its an automatic message that says your car warranty has expired but you can re-subscribe it. Phone fraud, my only regret is I waited too long to push 1 to give em a piece of my mind, and discuss the finer points of fraud with them.

Did anyone here use your cell number or the number you were called on to register to post on Craigs List by chance?
That is when the calls started coming in after I registered to post ads on Craigs List. I never posted my number on Craigs List but I wonder if Craigs list is selling our numbers.
