called my cell - did not answer since I don't recognize the number - have been bombarded with this kind of annoyance for the last couple of months - area codes all over the U.S.- must be that spring is a good season for scammers

I had this # call a few times, wanting to speak to dad. I asked wat is this rregards to nd wat company calling from. He just says tell dad to call. That's why I just googled nd im glad I did...

He's been calling me too but I don't think I've spoken to him. He might be legit calling for BOH and maybe other companies that hire him to outsource their debt collection.  It's strange that a big company would hire such a rude unprofessional person. As for how he got your number, probably when your daughter filled out the loan application, they always ask for nearest relative name and phone number. The reason  they do that is for when the debt becomes delinquent and they can't get a hold of you they call the numbers you put on your original application for references etc. They would've had to get that information from the original lender

Got a call twice from this number.  It's a scam!!! So told the guy, where he could stuff his phone :D
