    #2 scam attempt
    I received a text massage stating I needed to contact Wells Fargo. I do have some business with this bank, so like a fool I called the number. An automated computer answers the call stating that, " my credit card had been compromised." Tis the season for credit card theft, so I proceeded to listen to the message. It asked for my social security number and that's when the red light came up that this was a scam! DO NOT REPLY TO THIS NUMBER!! Just delete it and forget about it. I did contact Wells Fargo to make them aware of the situation. It is a scam. No bank would ever communicate with you through a text message. Now I am a little freaked out because I called this number back and I am afraid of future scams. Keep your eyes and ears open! Watch all credit card activity on your accounts. Better safe than sorry!     I just rec'd a text FROM: 5750226@vtext.com     (Verification) call at: 1-813-319-7002  (Wells-Fargo)......I don't even bank with Wells Fargo.!!! Deleted the message !

    Got a txt saying my "Achieve" card needs validation.  I don't have one.  The real Achieve VISA card number is an "800"#, not "813"...
