I don't know who this is, but they never leave a message. Wish they would leave me alone.

Keep Calling PeopleFinders customer service (number below).  Call repeatedly!!!  Otherwise you will continue to receive MULTIPLE calls per day.  The "unknown" numbers will change every few weeks--unless you repeatedly pester them to remove you from their sales list.  This is the only way to make these calls stop--MULTIPLE calls to the customer service department at peoplefinders untill they manually go through the steps of removing you from their sales list.....


Here's what happened. Peoplefinders.com SOLD your information--also your credit card information to this company--Amer Auto.

Just talked to a people finders rep, who ADMITTED that they pass on your credit card information "in case you are interested in any of their products." Very illegal. Watch your credit card statements closely. Close your credit cards. CALL People finders REPEATEDLY and complain.

Please call PeopleFinder Customer Service AT LEAST ONCE for every unwanted call you receive because they SOLD your information.

Been getting the same type of call from this number.  They hang-up without talking. Did a search through.. PEOPLE SEARCH for this number. and it shows as a telemarketing number.  If my number was given to them by PEOPLE SEARCH. I will find a way to shut them down!!! Going to post this info to all consumer complaint websites that I can find.

THey knew my credit card no. would NOT tell me what they wanted... I will report to FBI

Received several calls that were terminated as soon as I answered over the course of a few days.  The calls seemed to stop after I quit answering them.  This morning I finally heard from a telemarketer.  He recited my address, email address and the last four of my CC and informed me that his organization (which he declined to identify) received this information from one of their marketing partners (peoplefinder/intellius, don't use searches powered by intellius if you don't need to) and he wanted to send me $200 and a travel package.  I informed him that my cell number was on the national do-not-call registry as well as my state's do-not-call registry and that marketing calls of this purpose were in violation of a number of laws.  Long silence, then "will you allow me to continue telling me about this generous offer?" "I'm not interested.  Thank you and goodbye."  

We'll see if that works.

Just received a call from this number,

I have received 3 calls from this number today.  They never leave a message, so I finally called to see if I could find out what they wanted.  A recording comes on immediately asking me to enter my 10-digit phone number in to place my number on the do not call list.

How do I stop the calls without doing what they ask?  I figure they're just trying to confirm that this is a viable phone number.
