This number has called me at least 10 times in the past two days. I posted an ad on craigslist and I've been getting calls from it ever since. I've answered a couple of times, and the first time they hung up and the second time they were just breathing. Pretty creepy.

I talked with a Verizon Rep in one of their stores. He looked it up and explained it’s an automated solicitor’s number. Another words it’s being dialed by a computer system. If the person who is soliciting is on another line the computer will just hang up when you answer. When you call the number the computer auto answers with a reply then hangs up. The best location of this number is from Hillsborough County in Fla. (Tampa area). It was also mentioned it might be a relayed call from another number an relayed through several numbers, so who knows where the original call is coming from. If you have Verizon you can block it by going on line to your Verizon personal web site. You can block it for 90 days. Would also check your cell bill’s to make sure your number is not being billed form these numbers?

This number calls my cell 4-5 times a day!!  I want it to STOP!!!!!
