Calls and leaves no message.

Keeps calling and leaving no message.

I go through phases where I'll get 3-5 calls from these clowns a week. They never leave a message, so how important can the call actually be?  I've never talked to them in person because other's have said they are running some sort of debt collection scam. (And suffice to say I have no debt other than monthly credit card payments, and think if there was an issue with that, the card company would call me).  I used to try and block these bozos, but they use so many different numbers, it's hardly worth it.

Portfolio Recovery yet again. I've told them 100 times I do not know the person they're calling about. I lived in an apartment back in the mid '90s, and so the address of that apartment building is on my address history. Now any time someone who lives or has ever lived at that building has any kind of debt, these Portfolio Recovery idiots start calling me. Like I know the person who lived on another floor 6 years after I moved out. What amount of debt could possibly be worth the utter futility of that kind of thinking? They must work on commission and they must make next to nothing, because no company would pay someone hourly for that and make any money.
