Thank you for this information.  I got a call today (which I did not answer) but after reading that they do business with Best Buy and someone else regarding warranties, I knew exactly what it was.  We declined the warranty on  a purchase and the company that sold our name to this Warrentech should be punished.  We didn't want the warranty.  We should not be harrased about it.

Just got a call today.  Didn't answer since I didn't recognize the area code and caller id showed "no name"

They are scamming and trying to sell a fake extended warranty on a Panasonic flat screen we bought at COSTCO.  I filed a complaint on the Do-Not-Call sight.  I am so sick of the lack of prosecution from our government !!!!  Let's get rid of these blood sucking scam artists.

Keeps calling everyday around noon but doesn't leave a message.

I called and spoke to customer service and told them to take my number off of their records and DO NOT CALL AGAIN.  She said it takes 72 hours.  Whether this works or not - I don't know but I at leat tried.  I will file this number with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and file a report if they continue.  Hope this helps.

couple times i received this call, nobody  was on the line just a stupid call without any reason, no message.

yeah im getting the same call but have yet to catch them. I know how I handle these calls-- I pick up and tell them to hold on a minute and never come back they end up hanging up after a while having to pay for the phone call,they dont usually call after that!!

Caller ID identifies caller as SVC Contract SA.  Caller identified himself as Derrick Alexander in the Warranty Department.  Informed me that the warranty on my computer would be expiring and would I like to renew.  Offered a special price of $148.74 and wanted my credit card number. I wouldn't give him the number over the phone since I did not originate the call.  He gave my 1-800-290-0068 for me to call back.

When I saw the number from an unknown caller I just picked up the phone and did not say a word, there was just silence on the other end. The next time I saw the number I said hello just to get someone to curse at and a recording started, I hung up. The next time they called I whispered hello, no message. I am also on the do not call list > I filed a complaint. They still call. So, hoping that every time they call and I pick up the phone and say nothing, it cost them money. If we all pick up the phone and do not talk MAYBE it will help

got a call from this number... this is the 2nd time it has happened, no voicemail is left.  they just hang up.

i called them back, basically what they after is to see if you want to re-new your existing warranty on your applience, like for example i bought a stove at PCRichards and the warranty was about to expire and they offer me to extend the warranty of it. but i know i hate this calls too. i hope it ease your nerves.

This number calls my home a few times almost every day. I never answer and they never leave a message. My number is on the DO NOT CALL list (FTC).

The lady identified herself a a Brandsmart rep. and was looking to renovate a warranty.

They are selling warranty. In my case it was dishwasher from PC Richards and sone- my warranty expired and they sold another one.

This is an extended warranty company, I bought a tv from Braddock and they want to sell you the extra warranty. I answered the other day and got the spill they did call back, just tell them no thanks.

Called to offer a repair service on echo star equipment which we do not own or have ever had any business with.  Our number is on the do not reply list.
