Yep, I've seen it two days in a row now on the caller ID - it's the 909-842-9148 number.  The line he's calling is my office number - don't know how they got that but now I know not to pick it up.

A girl with non-American accent called last week. I told her that I was very suspishious of an offer to send me a card worth $300 for gas. I hung up before she asked for a C Card to pay postage.
Today the same voice called this saturday morning with the same caned talk. I told her that she was a crook. Give me your name of company. I hung up. Then in a supervisor called me trying to convence me to provide C Card or Bank info. I told him to please remove my number from their records. I hung up. Why can't these people be delt with even if they are on the other side of the world.

I got a call from the same group and had the same experience as everyone else, but he gave me the internet address www.supersavingstoday.com which is just some internet site where you can get coupons and stuff, he tried telling me this proves he is legitimate, I just hung up.

I just received the same call, could not get any answer except the operator name was Dan Cruz #29261

ha, I get the same calls too from 818-870-9155 - Indian dude claiming I got a gas card worth $300. They call several times a day, when I asked to be removed from the calling list, I get no response and get even MORE calls. Now no-one is one the other end of the telephone, just dead air and repeat calls. Dang [***]

Comes up as "MSL". Never leaves a message.

I've been getting repeat calls from 818-870-9153 and 909-842-9148.  These two numbers appear to be operated by the same folks.  I was getting calls from the 909 number and I finally picked up and told them to take me off their call list several times and hung up. No more calls from 909 but tonight a call from 818-870-9153. What slimeballs these guys are, it's enough to make you scream.
So here is the drill, something useful the federal gov. actually does.
Open your browser and enter WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV You enter your phone number or numbers that have been getting the calls, give them an email address, and hit the register button.  This auto generates an email with a link in it and you click on the link in the email to confirm your registration. (This is their way of verifying that a real live person is filling the form instead of a bot).  So you are now on the national do not call list.  If these jerks continue to call you can register a complaint at the same website and they have the legal muscle to put a stop to it. It's simple and easy, I can't comment on effective yet but I's hopeful.  Hope this helps.

I got this call this afternoon,  He had my Name (first, Last) address.  He said that he is going to mail me the "$300 gasoline money".  
I asked his name and about his company,  He replied me saying " Are you an educated person".   I got mad and was all over him, asking him to put me to his supervisor.  He hung upon me and few minutes later, he called me back and started using abusive language.  
the caller id said out of state call, I didn't know the number.   I googled and found this forum.  I'm waiting for his next call to get this guy down..

This number showed up on my cell.  When I answered after about the third or fourth ring, they hung up.  I went to whitepages to do a reverse lookup and of course it said it was unpublished/unavailable.  But, it said it was a number out of California--Canoga Park, I think.  
This is the second number that I have gotten phone calls from.  I want to know how these jokers get these phone numbers.  What is being done to stop this?

These guys will NOT stop calling you until you have your name removed from their list.  After complaining to them many times, I found out how:

Call 866-878-3062 or 866-239-7083.  This is their customer service department.  

The first person that answers is indeed in customer service.  They can NOT help you.

Tell them that you completed the verification process and you want to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor CAN help you.  They were EXTREMELY helpful and removed my number from their list.  

All calls have stopped.

I received a call with the 909-842-9148 number.  Caller Id said 'Big Deals'.  Was offered the gas voucher from a guy with the same Indiam accent.  I asked to talk to a manager and was given a very rude gentalmen and asked why I was (in his words) dissing him. I asked for his name and how to spell it and he said he couldn't spell his name. (The people listening around me got a big laugh out of that) When asked to be removed from their list they ask why we don't want this wonderful deal or hang up.  Its actully become a game to see what they say.  Then we receive 12 more calls from them in a day. We are reporting it to the FTC.

I called 866-878-3062 and asked for a supervisor.  I spoke to Alice who told me that they outsourced the marketing department to an Indian company and they were receiving a lot of complaints.

She told me that she would have my name removed from the call list and I should not receive any more calls.

She also told me that they were going to cancel the contract with the marketing company as they were approaching the marketing "too aggressively".

She also told me that the only way to get taken off of the list is to call customer service and speak to a supervisor.

I've been called a BUNCH of times by these same guys.  Don't remember their names but it's the same 2 numbers that everyone else is posting.  $500 gas card the first time, $300 gas card the 2nd time, from "Gold Coast."  I've been hanging up on them saying "not interested" but I still get the calls.  I've gotten 5 calls from the 818.870.9155 number and 1 from the 909.842.9148 number.  Very annoying, these guys need to be caught.

Same thing has happened with my husband, with them calling multiple times.  It's SO obviously a scam... I feel bad for people who fall for this, but seriously... who gives out their entire credit card number to some random person who calls?  Anyway, my husband plays their little game to see what they're after, but tells them he won't give out his CC#.  The guy with the heavy Indian accent gets all pushy and insulting with the "you just don't get it" stuff, and my husband hangs up on him.  The guy calls back and tries again!!  The nerve of these people is unbelievable.  Seriously, isn't there some way to pass this on to authorities??  Since then, he's been called a few more times and he asks them to take them off their list... we'll see if they catch on, but they're awfully persistent.

As previously mentioned, they also call  with (909)842-9148. I was called 6 or 7 times per day. First with the 909 number. If you call them back you get an automated service where you can have your number removed. I did that and then got called by the 818 number. When I called that one back, it is the same automated system to get your number removed.

yesterday got to calls from those guys but different phone number and today got phone call from this numbet but this time it was indian women mishel :)and they calling to my work number and this is city agency

Man with accent saying I won a gas card. I told him not to call me again & take my number off his list. He hung up instantly. Where are they getting private cell phone numbers?

i got this call i few days ago and it didnt feel right to me and hung up, they call several times more til i started insulting them and hung up. they kept calling but i didnt answer.

yesterday i was short on cash and thought of this people and said to me ' probably its legitimate and god is sending me a way of saving money" and they call this morning... i gave them my C card number... they had my mailing address in the US which thank god is not my c card billing address... when i told them my billing address is not the same they were very pushy and pressuring me to give them my cred card billing address in mexico... in that moment i checked on the web and found this website and i got scared as i had already give them my digits... i knew if i tried to change my digits they wouldnt believe so i just gave them a fake address from mexico (that way they wont call for a while)...


I wonder whether they can screw me only with my digits, as said, my mailing address in the US is not the same as my credit card and gave them a fake address in mexico (didnt want to tell them to fu*ck off coz they would call more and more)
