Same as above.  Got a call to refer students to my program.  "Jody Neal" asked all about the program.  I knew it was a FRAUD because she was talking about the "Jewish Center" in Canoga Park.  First of all, it doesn't exist anymore. Second, I would know anyone who works there.  Then her "Jewish Referral Service".  Ya, NO. The Jewish Federation has the concierge service.  They're the only "referral" service I know of.  Too bad because wouldn't that be nice if it were for real!?  DON'T CALL BACK.

Just received a call from Jody Neal.  Said she was with the Jewish Center of San Fernando Valley and had clients to refer to me.  After reading these posts I have no intention of calling her back.  Sounds like a scam to me.  Caller ID said Forward Thinking.

I just received the same call from Justin, he only wanted help from the Doctor.  Don't they know that the doctors hire us to make appointments.

I received a call at our tax firm asking for the owner. I said that he's unavailable, but can I take down her contact info and have him call her. She said her name was Jodi Neal calling from the Jewish Center, at 818-884-1829, and that she has some clients to refer. She was nice but it seemed strange from the start. Dang scams.

Now they are representing that they have patients to refer to me and for me to call them back. Forget it.

Got the same call from Karen Hamilton from the same number.  "Jewish Center"  Not affiliated with any of the known Jewish organizations in town.  She said they're affiliated with the Jewish yellow pages that 'goes to all the synagogues.'  

Left the original message as though she was a clinician needing assistance.

This women Sonia called me last month & now again. She demands to only talk to the owner. I told her she talks to me or no one. She is very insistent to only talk to owner! After 20 minutes, I finally got her to tell me what she wants since i told her I delegate the money. This is an advertising scam! Beware, report this number (818) 884-1829 it is out of a house in Canoga Park/Winnetka...

We got a call from "Norman" who said he had clients for us. He was very vague about it and seemed to be fishing for information about us.  He claimed to be from the "Jewish Center in Canoga Park"

I received a message from David Naveh at the Jewish Referral Services center in Canoga Park, phone (818) 884-1829.

There is a large Jewish Community center not far away in West Hills, but it's totally unrelated.  I own a successful life ins. and financial planning business in the San Fernando Valley.  I returned David's call, he is on their Financial Desk and said they have a directory coming out and a website. He pressed me hard for an appointment. I asked about the cost, he dodged and said that won't be an issue, he will have a good affordable package for me, just come in to talk with him.  

I relented and made an appointment, and then did some internet searching.  Viola, here is this helpful string of negative / warning posts. Thanks to all for the previous posts. My business has been referral based for 30 years and I am pretty selective at this point.  Needless to say, I called and cancelled the appointment. She works for the Kosher Yellow Pages. It's too bad that she is so deceptive about this but that's because it's really a scam. I made the mistake of using them and received nothing for my money. Get a real job Jodi. Heck sell used cars. You'd be great at it. Call it "Used Jewish Cars". Yevarechech elohim

I received a message from 'Jewish Referral Services' stated they had clients for me. Caller ID
said "Forward Thinking". The caller's name was Dawn...pressed for a meeting on the same day
and for e to bring my check book, credit card, etc...Classic scam. Thanks for having this tread posted.

Received several messages from David Nuve for multiple agents in our office.  Caller ID Forward Thinking.  Thanks for posting - know not to return the calls.

Received a call from Jodi Neal who was very persistent about sending in leads from a Jewish referral service.  I met with her and listened to her for fifteen minutes or so before cutting her off in mid-pitch to ask her questions about terms and actual service.  She was upset, unable to answer legitimate questions and when I eventually said I was not interested in what she was offering, she stormed out slamming my door.  Red flags everywhere on this one!

Received many calls from Jody Neal and I finally decided  to call her back.  I made an appointment with her but something didn't feel right to me.  After I typed in the words, JEWISH REFERRAL SERVICE, it directed me to this 818 number that is the same number Ms. Neal called me from.  After reading all these latest go rounds with everyone over the last few years, I decided not to meet with her.  Thank you for all your comments

Our dental clinic received a call from an Ashley at (952)658-8304 (DID said Tarra Morgan) who wished to speak only with the owner about referring clients to our clinic.  She referenced that she was calling from the Jewish Center. I asked her to explain to me how she could refer patients to us and she would only impart that information to the owner.  I asked if it involved a financial commitment and again, she would not answer my question.  Seeing all of the other comments, and having experienced calls like this previously, this is a scam.  Buyer be ware.

I remember the Jewish center they used to call all the time and tell me they had work for me then when the conversation started they would want me to buy an ad in their paper that’s how they have worked for me bunch of BS
