- JoannaThis middle eastern guy who keeps calling me is highly dangerous. He has gotten $21,000.00 so far from my Bank of America savings acct. He claims to be a Bit Coin person. He claims that someone has a pending Bit Coin deposit that erroneously has been deposited into my B of A savings acct. He then aggressively demand that I send the $21,000.00 back to his account via a bit coin machine being used for his terror and thefts @ Washington Bl & Overland Ave in West Los Angeles, CA. He EVEN SENT ME A BARCODE TO "REVERSE" THE $$$ BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT (YEAH RIGHT). That barcode was to let the Bit Coin machine know where to squirrel away and hide the $$$ he just stole out of my account. These hackers are ruthless and the bank seems helpless after the fact. The banks are not all that pro active. He had my name, social security # my, address, etc. etc etc. Very dangerous scam and very , very dangerous, sick individuals running this scam. I have filed a Los Angeles Police Report. They said a detective will call me soon. That is all I have to report so far. Thank you for listening. This is a very bad scam for our banks and communities.
