Survey for Canadian gouverment. ... yeah right calling on a sunday and on a business cell!  The guy was very nervious.

called left no message then called again 4 days later

No msg left, clearly a fake cold call to find out our record information.

A pleasant girl phoned to do a survey for a financial services company. Seemed harmless.

When they called, I answered. They said hello then hung up.

1-833-813-2355 called around 8 pm/April 1st, 2019, at West Coast Canada, on an unlisted, prepaid cell phone. This number is not given out to anybody except 2 emergency contacts. I do not answer any phone call on my cell phone if the caller number is not saved in my contacts. So, as other people stated above that it is apparently Service Canada or Govt. Canada, I would say the callers are scammers, because if they would be really service Canada, they would only find my home phone number in my file . Scammers, liars and crooks, and everything that is not legal. Then, at 10 pm, a local phone number called. Like last time when 1-833-813-2355 called, same, after 2 or 3 hrs. a local number called. Left also un-answered.

I keep receiving calls from 1-833-813-2355 United States (I assume the call is from elsewhere)  ... I don't answer & no message left ! One call came thru @ 1:30am when my phone was on silent. so annoyed !

If someone calls you from a number you do not know...DO NOT ANSWER!!  If it is important they will leave a message.  I do not answer unless they are in my contact info...lots of people with Indian accents...!

Got a call and they said it’s a survey... they took the survey for 5 mins

Calls but no message left. I don’t answer.

Has call 3 times in the last 2 days but my phone never rings. All I get is a voice mail with no message at all. Why is it going to my messages without ringing my phone? I dunno.

How does a "toll free caller" equate into a scam if you don't know what the call was about?

They called and I answered, fast talk person let me know he is from the Federal Government of Canada then hang up. ???

Asked me to participate in a market research survey from the “Government of Canada”, wanted to clarify if there was a landline in the house, and then digging at whether or not there was a man at home to speak to. Suddenly felt rather unsafe. Definitely some kind of scam, but not sure beyond that...
