I was also contacted by 843-619-3526 as well as many many others this past 5 to 6 years it just seems no matter what you do it just keeps getting worse. I researched some of this and found that even the county sells our information for marketing as well as your cell and land line phone companies even though many companies deny they do that. I even contacted a local TV station about doing a consumer interest story but they said it would not stop it anyway and they felt it was not a subject they wanted to run a story on. I am now seeking others that maybe interested in starting an online petition to submit to FTC, FCC and other government agencies. I think we need to do something and rebel against these practices. In my opinion these practices also contribute to crimes such as stalking and harassment as well as many other crimes when they make our personal information public to anyone on the internet as well as telemarketers. The only places that should really have a reason to have our information is tax offices and law enforcement not to be shared with businesses and general public. All I am saying is I have no issue with business wanting to sell products and marketing but I feel we should have the right to opt out of of these practices. Called regarding lowering credit card interest.

I too am annoyed by these calls. I've found that by adding their numbers to my reject list, they less of a bother. However, something definitely should be done about these companies... If you really want to get them good, answer when the call and press the number to speak to a live rep. Tell them you have several thousands in debt. They will start to get excited and ask you to go get your cards. This is where you start to have some fun. Put them on hold for a few min (not too long or they will hang up), then check back and tell them you are still looking. Continue to do this for about 10-15 min. After making them wait for a while, tell them you found your card. As they start to ask for your info, give them some bogus crap and tell them you were just wasting their time like they waste yours. They will get soooo pissed. It is quite funny. One guy I did it to go so mad that he started cussing at me and threatened to burn my house down. Needless to say, I have that chumps call recorded so I will see if some form of criminal action can be taken against him.

I have received calls from this company from four different numbers. 843-619-3526, associated with South Carolina; 701-671-9224, associated with Wahpeton, North Dakota;  541-257-1219 associated with Corvallis, Oregon; & 506-227-4565 associated with New Brunswick, Canada.  "This is Ann calling with an important notice about your credit card intrest rate." They are a marketing scheme, I have tried to speak to them to quit calling me & tell them I'm on the do not call registry & they disconnect the call and call back later that day or the next day.  I have filed complaints with the DNC Registery & suggest that everyone else do the same so maybe they will be investigated and stop this robocalling.  I've also seen on some other sites that they are phishing for credit card information so as with anything else, please practice safe practices & DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, DATE OF BIRTH, OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL IDENTIFIERS TO ANYONE THAT YOU CANNOT VERIFY TO PREVENT ANY KIND OF HARM TO YOUR CREDIT!

Call comes as a pre-recorded message as Anne with Card Member Services and a special low rate offer (supposedly the final call they will make to me).  When I press 1 to talk to someone (as I want to get off their calling list) I get transferred to a live person.  When I say I am on the National Do Not Call list and I want their company name and number, they hang up.

I've been getting this same exact pre-recorded message from about a half-dozen numbers for the last three months.  I report it to the FTC File A Complaint site each time.  Hope they can shut these folks down as this is very annoying.

@AMYSG - that's a good idea to list all the associated numbers.  I also have received them from 701-671-9224.

Also, I found a call feature with Android phones:
Settings > Call > Call rejection > Auto reject mode: Auto reject numbers
Then add all these numbers to the Auto reject list.  At least then you only get the calls one time.

I wish there was a way to pre-load these numbers from my PC and collect them from a central service (like this website).  Then we could all fight them by blocking them as soon as one of us got a call.

I just don't want to add another app to my phone to do this - I wish there was an app to pre-load/manage those numbers though (just to sync it).

Did not answer but since I found that others here have been called by the number listed,
I simply added it to my cell's "reject list"...where I have several others!  When they call the
number again, they receive a message that their call is not accepted...but the great thing is
I don't hear my cell ring....but only notice that they called "after the fact"   It doesn't solve
the problem, but it helps!  Also, the Do Not Call registry is nothing but a joke, from my experience.

called, argued they don't care that number is on DNC list.  Kept calling back saying I dont care.  Has been going on for a few days.  Trying to file complaint on line

It's about getting you better rates on your credit cards. I have excellent credit, I don't need them to do me any favors for a fee.

Doesn't stop calling rings,   again and again

Spam call to my cell. Should not reoccurring so much. Wastes my time& minutes. Hang up when you question them. Doesn't leave message, thank goodness.

I get this call from"Ann" every other day trying to lower my interest on credit cards.  It says press 1.  Then it doesn't go through.

How do I get this stopped???

These people call me on my cell and my home phone.  I have listened to the message and prompts several times in order to speak to someone to tell them to take me off their list.  They just hang up and call another time.  I work days and nights and am extremely tired of them calling and waking me up.  Considered filling out the FCC complaint form but the government cannot seem to give us a simple form to complete as I don't think they care or will do anything for us anyway.

I've been receiving calls from this number for weeks and decided to finally answer the call.  I pressed "1" to speak to a representative and when someone finally got on the phone, they asked me if I had any credit card debt.  I asked them for the name of the company they're representing. I asked several times of which the only reply I received was the same initial question of whether I have any credit card debt.  The person on the other line refused to answer my question laughed and disconnected the call.  This is a scam and people, please do not feed into it.  I wanted the name of the company so that I could report them.   If you receive a call from this number, press 1 to get a representative and when someone finally gets on the phone, blow a whistle or loud object into the phone.  Maybe this will get them to stop making these fraudulent calls.

Nobody is selling your private #, these are automated robo calls, they just keep going until they get a hit.
That's why they can't stop them...................yet
