844-316-8434

Recording said United HealthCare.  Called the number.  They said they were United HealthCare and were calling because I needed a prescription refill.  When asked, I refused to give my name or birthdate.
I called UHC number on the back of my card.  Associate said she could not find 844-316-8434 as a valid UHC number.  Associate is forwarding the number to UHC fraud dept.

RCVD call like caller above and w same number 844-316-8434.  They had an "important message" for me.  Will not call back but wait for a second attempt and take it from there.  They call me on a weekend but want me to call back M-F 8 to 8.

These people call me 60 times a day sometimes they're constantly trying to get me scam I get tired of it but it's been going on for at least 3 months every day nuisance yes scan yes the worst people that ever got your number I would love to find out how to get rid of them

same message. important, blah blah blah.  not to be racist but she had an indian accent when i called back. she asked for the number linked w. my account...i gave her another number than i was calling from, she said just a moment, then hung up. haha

Says it is from United Health Care and asks to call them back.  ID's as SPAM from my phone carrier.

Thanks for posting you encounters-- They have saved me a 'waste of time.' It did come up as spam and then the number. Nice spam alert. It made me investigate here at this site.

Similar situation as previous messages; answer machine called; twice by scammers;
looked the number up and read the messages.  What a waste of time and effort.

Heavy accent left message.  Called back he said UHV, please verify phone.  I hung up
and did net search on number and dozens have ID'd this as a scam.

They're still at it. Same robocall, same number they want you callback.  I called the number on my UHC card and they confirm they're getting a lot of these reports.  Bottomline...never...EVER...believe an incoming call.  Hang up, get your membership card and call the toll free number on the back.  It's the ONLY way to be 100% safe.

Scam "Unitedhealth" calls at least once a week, changing the number every time.  Blocking this one now, too.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Walgreens said no one called them.

They keep calling me at 6:30am asking for my mom saying they are United Healthcare and needed to talk to her about her prescription services. Comes up as United Healthcare on caller ID. At first, I explained that they were calling the wrong number. Then they continue to press me for my mom's info...um, no. I hung up. Have called every day since. I finally blocked and had my mom call the number on her card to verify they have the correct info and to report. United Healthcare is contracted with pharmacy providers that can call to update info; however, they did confirm with us that this number is a scam.

a message from a caller saying they were united health  care and they left a message 844-316-8434..I did not call back...the call came at 615pm on a friday nite...

Voice message asking to "urgently call back United Health Care at 844 316 8434".
Called back, and asked for full name, date of birth, and last 4 digits of Social Security number.  Then asked if we had a 401k account.  Then said she was from "Met Life".

Call back to the number got a very UNPROFESSIONAL sounding, heavy Indian accented woman who said "Thank you for calling back United Health Care."  She then immediately asked for my phone number.  I interrupted her and asked, "how do I know this is UHC?"  She said, "Yes, m'am, we are United Healthcare."  I said, "Yes, but how do I know that since you called me from a number that is not listed with UHC?"  She hung up.
