They keep calling me saying they want me to pay if not they are going to take me to court.  They are calling my family member giving them personal information about me.

They continue to fax over this phony looking proof if employment to my HR department. It's looks so phony that my HR department refused to answer the questions, they did however send a copy to the police department to investigate. Now Chris Hagerman has a left me a message, I guess because the other people did not scare me, he thinks he will. They are violating so many FDCPA rules. A legit company does not leave personal information on a voice mail or give personal information to anyone else then yourself. This people are scum. I have also reported them. I hope someone schools them.

Their fax number is 1303 358-8090 if anyone's feels like blowing up their fax, do they can't fax out.

Do not pay these scammers..they will not take u too court or show up to ur house..all empty threats...I told them to go ahead & take me to court on a fraudulent charge and see how that works out for you. I also threaten the hell out of the woman and told her I work as a computer programmer and can hack just about any system (which is actually true) & told her I would show up at her front door after I hack there phone lines get all her information & make her regret ever calling me in the first place...then I hung up on her...wouldnt u know it all the calls stopped. ..these people are cowards and all they are doing is preying on less informed people...this is totally a scam..do not fall for it.

Same thing just got a call.  Said I wrote a fraudulant check and was going to file a criminal case with my county's DA.  I don't write check's either.

He has been trying to call me too. Everyday threatening me. He's a real piece of [***].

Who do you file a complaint with.

The amount they told me today I don't know exactly but I am almost positive it was 1800 something.  I guess in bad times everyone is scamming.  I also asked them to send me information on what I "owe" they also said I have to file a motion?  I said if you really think I owe you the money why don't I receive something in the mail.  Grinds the H out of me that I am even letting them "get" to me and wasting my time.

A women called left a message saying she was with the pr associates and that I had a bad check and the company that she represents is filling a claim with the county I live in against me for not paying it. First I haven't had a checking account in years so that right there is a lie.

This guy named demetry keeps calling my phone leaving threatening voice mails asking all kinds of information about my husband! Started acting like he was an old friend of my husbands and he said he needed to get a hold of him for an extremely urgent matter. First off ive never heard of this guy in the 3 years my husband and i have been together. Seriously i knew it was a scam but i played along for grins and giggles!! Told the guy i will deliver the message! Demetry you LOSER U ARE GETTING NO MONEY FROM US! I can smell your scam and it stinks!!!

Calling me and telling me they are taking me to court then sent over a form for my employer to fill out on my employment and pay said I wrote a bad check.

Just got a voice message from Demetri stating that he represented PR Associates and my lawyer or I needed to call him about some documents that were forwarded to him from my county's DA. The paperwork pertained to allegations on my behalf. If we didn't call him back at 844-832-0113 he'll file the documents with the DA's Office. This idiot is full of SH*T!!! If the documents were on my behalf, my lawyer or I would've had to file a complaint with the court. A "complaint " is the legal term for paperwork filed to begin legal action against someone and the DA or courts will NOT get involved without one being filed. I'm not an idiot so why would I file a complaint against myself??? Also the courts MUST send you or your lawyer copies of ALL legal documents sent to this so called legal rep. The courts also give a certain amount of time to file a motion which is basically your side of the story or answer to the complaint. Complaints for debts fall under civil not criminal court so it's highly unlikely the DA's office will get involved because they'd have to show that you never intended to pay back a debt and they can't show what your state of mind was at the time you acquired the debt therefore can't prove fraud had been committed. Yeah he's full of SH*T.

they called me threatening to throw me in jail for a "debt" they said i owed. they could not verify my information, which i found suspicious. i spoke to several reps at the number their names are : robert, geneva, keith webber, and chris hagerman, who listed his email address as chagerman@peakcollect.com. how do i file a complaint against them??

Got another voice message today but this time the guy said he worked for PR Associates and was calling on his client's behalf. I'm not sure how you can file a complaint but you might want to try www.fcc.gov/complaints since they govern communications. Also try the Federal Trade Commission and the attorney general in your state. I just block the phone numbers they use. They leave a voice message which I just delete. Good luck.

Its hilarious how people these days will do anything to avoid paying money THEY owe by accusing collections and law offices of fraud! HAHAHA hilarious and then people wonder why the economy is the way it is. Pathetic.....
