I booked a flight ticket and I keep getting call from this number to purchase additional services for extra money.

Call back gets "Thank you for calling Cheapo Air." It goes on to give you a list of options depending on the purpose of your call.  A google search suggests the correct spelling for the company is CheapOair.

Two hours ago, I received a call regarding the three tickets I recently booked through Cheapo Air. The caller identified himself as a representative from Cheapo Air and expressed concern about my upcoming travel with a child. He wanted to ensure that our family of three would be seated together on the flight. I appreciated his concern and informed him that I had already selected our seats. He acknowledged this but pointed out that the seats I chose were not together.

He then offered a solution: if we moved from row 39 to row 30, we could have three seats together for an additional cost of $218.68. I hesitated for a few minutes, considering the possibility that I had only selected seats for the connecting flight. Ultimately, I agreed to the charge for the convenience of having our seats together on the 14-hour flight. When he asked for my credit card number, I mentioned that I was driving and didn’t remember the entire number, but assured him that my information was already in the system. However, he insisted on obtaining the number, which raised my suspicion.

Upon arriving home, I checked my booking details and discovered that all three of our seats were indeed together in row 30. This made me realize the caller was likely a scammer. His accent sounded like he might have been from India or Pakistan.

So glad you didn't get scammed.  Unfortunately, numbers can be spoofed so even though this number belongs to CheapOair, it's possible that someone spoofed the number.  When dealing with such calls, even legitimate ones, it's always best to call the published number.  That goes for banks and credit cards too.  Have a good trip.  Thanks for posting.

A lady with an Indian accent kept on asking if I’m Jay and kept on asking for my email only to tell me I did not select a seat for the passenger. I insisted I don’t want to select a seat as it doesn’t get followed always.

I got the same thing I booked my tickets for me and my family and just right now called me to add an extra service and even sent me an email and insisted on me paying while staying on the line with her. I was like nope and ended the call

Got a call from this number and I was told about not having to check-in for an extra $3 and i said sure.

He confirmed the last 4 digits of my debit card as well as my flight information before i told him anything; was this a legitimate call from CheapOair or did i just get scammed?

Yes same thing with me. After I booked my flight I received a call from +1 (845) 848-0171 saying that I needed to pay to get my boarding pass. I had a feeling it was a scam but to be sure I asked for her to email me where to pay and the email looked so fake

I got several calls from this number this morning, and the Caller ID said CheapOAir. I didn't answer them. Then I happened to look at my credit card statement and there were fraudulent charges of over $2K for CheapOAir and Delta Airlines -- and I found out someone had booked a one-way ticket to Paris, France using my credit card. I had never heard of CheapOAir before and haven't booked any travel. When they called back I answered, and someone with an Indian accent started thanking me for my purchase. When I told him I hadn't purchased any tickets he quickly hung up. No idea how they got my CC number or phone number!

I have the same issue, same number.
