i geys calls but rhey dont say who they want.

I am having the same problem with Blitt & Gaines and a guy named Fabian Higgins. They keep calling and calling from either 847 or 312 area code numbers. I left them a message that said I'd call back after 7pm when my cell is free. Once again "Fabian" left me a rude message. I finally got a hold of him and it was about a CapitalOne account that I've been trying to settle with them, but they kept saying I had to wait for my account to be so many days past due?! Fabian was completely out of line and abusive. I think CapOne is working with blitt & gaines! I have a letter from another attny James A West for the same acct. I tried to explain this to Fab & he tacked on 15 bucks interest to my $903 debt. Unbelievable!! then he told me I was contradicting myself when I said I bring in less $$ over the summer. I hung up on him and he kept calling me back. I have no letter stating that my case is even with them.

I was getting one to two phonemail per day. I called them two weeks  ago that no such person lives here and they said they would remove my name but I've started getting calls again.

yes this is a ruthless collections co. Very extremely rude and unethical  I saved there # under do not answer in my phone I will never speak with anyone from this office again.

These bast@#$ sent one letter to me and did not answer my debt validation letter. The postmark on the envelope was 7 days after the date on the letter. The filed the lawsuit before the 30 days that they are suppose to validate the debt. This debt is past the SOL and the original creditor is the junk debt collector Palisades Collections. They have been trying to collect this money for the last 2 years and each and every time I ask for validation, they change the collection company. Know they found one in my state and then Blitt & Gaines sued. They send an alias summons through the mail and I only had 5 days (instead of the normal 20-30 days) to answer the summons. The problem is that I have to pay the Illinois courts $200 to file my written answer to the summons. They know that I don't have this money and filed the lawsuit so they can get a default judgment. I have filed complaints to the BBB (they have 28) and have only resolved 1. that goes to show you what type of people they are. Next I will be filing complaints the the FTC and the State Bar Association in Illinois. I hope everyone will file complaints with the Attorney General in Illinois, FTC, and BBB and stop these people. I pay my bill the best way I can and they are now willing to work with anyone & will not prove the debt.

good luck with all you people complaining- obviously none of you understand the fdcpa laws at all- why dont you educate yourselves and actually read the contract you sign when you accept a credit card - and pay back the [***] compaies you owe money too- you are all complaining about companies trying to recover money YOU spent- what a joke- a credit card is not an entitlement you will eventually be sued one time or another for all your dirty spending!!! lol to all you in court without a [***] clue!!!!!!

First received a call from (847) 507-1948 and the man said he was a "processor" and wanted to verify an address for my brother, supposed to be so that he can get served for court. VERY strange because my brother passed away almost a year ago!!!!!!
When I told the guy he felt bad and said he was give the number by an attorney and handed me the number 847-403-4900. They always seem to be experiencing high volume calls and was never able to get a hold of them.

Debt Collectors. They use law Firm to scare you. Don't answer the phone, dont talk to them ever.

thanks for the information. just got a call from them and i asked if they were lawyers or bill collectors.told them no job,welfare,ssi, am homeless. they didnt want to talk to me then. told me to take down their number and call them later.

This number is for Blitt & Gaines Attorneys. They are a collection agency for major credit cards. If you do not answer or respond to any messages they will take you to court.
