Someone keeps calling about a bill on which I am making payments DIRECTLY to creditor.

I keep getting calls from this number, when I answered, the person said they were calling to collect a payment for my Amazon credit card from Chase Bank.

This number is fraud. They called me to get a check number to pay up. I refused giving this Indian sounding guy anything. I went on line and I owe nothing. I called the Chase number from the back of the card. Guess what. I OWE NOTHING.

I keep receiving calls from this number on my work phone. They don't leave a message if I miss the call and when I answer they don't say anything.   If this is truly Chase I have told them that I am not allowed to receive calls like this at work.  Since I have already told them that I cannot receive these calls at work what is my next step?

They called 5 times on Saturday and started up again at 932am on Sunday. They never leave a message.

Who are these people and how do I stop the madness??

I  owe  Chase  credit  card $4k  but  months  ago they closed my credit card because my  credit report want looking great although I had not missed  payments in months and they were still charging me FULL  INTEREST.  So I wrote then and told them I  can't afford to pay them  any  longer. This # started calling  me  since.

Whenever this number, or 847 426-9203 tries calling me.  I simply tell them to screw off.  I have tried calling back and they tell you to key in your credit card #, CHASE would NEVER have you do that, so you know immediately it's fraud.  I pick up and tell them to go step on a rake, at least that's how I resolved the problem.

Called our office line about 5x a day so I called this morning.  The automated voice tells you to key in your 16 digit card number or 9 digit social.... Then it says push 0 for an operator which I did.  I talked to a foreign lady who immediately asked for my card number I just cut her off and said, your soliciting to a business line on the Do Not Call List, and have been reported.  She asked for the number and said it would be removed.... time will tell.  SCAM for sure.

From Amazon Chase wanting payment. My card payments are current, zero balance due, promptly blocked that number!

They have called every two hours for the last 2 days from 8 am to 10 pm. Never leave a message. Never get any other communication. I am ready to report harassing phone calls.

This is NOT a recognized Chase number.  Do not Answer and never give them any personal info.

They call and want your number. When I would not give it the girl said well just give me your Social Security number. SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! HANG UP!! CHASE WOULD NEVER HAVE YOU DO THIS !!!

846-426-8085 called our business and appeared on the screen as "Chase". They call anywhere from multiple times a month to multiple times a day, but hang up immediately when asked who is calling, what it is regarding, or as soon as I pick up the phone. Never get past the administrative assistants and clearly spam/suspicious. Upon looking up this number, it has been reported several times as fraud/spam attempting to collect money or personal information. They have zero association to Chase.

After reading everyone's comments on this page, I came to believe that this is suspicious because a message was never left on my phone. Am glad I didn't answer this phone call.

Got a call from this number, I answered-maybe too late for them and they hung up.  I’m glad I looked up the number- zowey this seems to be a scam indeed.  I suggest if you’ve already been called by this person freeze your credit reports on all the credit beuaro sites and add an alert to one of them.
