Got 2 calls today from this number today... Caller ID  says JP Morgan Chase...no message.  I called the number... 847-426-9203.  Sounded legit... 'Thank you for Calling Chase'...  'Someone will be with you shortly'... 'This call will be recorded', etc, etc..  Woman picks up and asks for the acct# I'm calling about.  I tell her Chase called me and that I have about 5 accounts and don't know what they want.  She puts me on hold and when she comes back she asks for my SS#... not the last four, but the entire number.  I hung up and called the Chase Customer Service Number on the back of one of my cards.. They informed that the call wasn't from them, and that they would never ask for some one's entire SS#...

This # has called me 4 times today...no message or anything. Thank you all for posting on here.

Received a call, was Chase. I am behind on payments.  She gave the standard talk about recording call, When I said I was also recording, she said she could not talk to me and hung up.  OK for them to record, not me.  They do not want to be caught in the illegal lies that they use.  Having worked in a call center for a bank, I trained in all the facets of a bank call center.  The people who work in the collections department are usually ex-con's, which does not make them bad people.  They need to work, but from what I know, they use any means to get the bill paid.

Nope, Ornito81, it is True.  I'm behind on my payment with them and they are calling me, too.  Its legit.

Thus number cause a few times everyday. I agree that if this was a legitimate company they would leave a voicemail. However, there was never any voicemail

Multiple annoying calls

This was from Chase calling because my credit card payment bounced and was late.
They called 5 times in a week until I finally called back and verified.

This number is a fraud. I received a call from this number stating that a payment had failed. They then asked for my bank information. I instead called the number on the back of my card. When I asked the Chase customer agent to verify the number, he stated that it was not in their system as card member services number. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

This number has been calling me every 2 hours today,  Never leaves a message

Caller gave a name and a number. Said I could pay a credit card on the phone. Knew the number and what was due. I told him Chase does not allow payment over the phone and that I did not believe him a bit. I went to chase and asked them to check the number .Was told the number was not a Chase number.

Calls from this number begin at 8:15 in the am and continue throughout the day. From what I've read these are not legitimate calls from Chase Bank. I'm not late nor behind on my card so who is this and how can u stop it?

Called this number and it's collections. They don't know why I'm being called after checking my account. Another call comes while I'm on the phone. They had the wrong number...man why can't they check the number they're calling???  Disgusted for being disturbed

Male ,Indian voice, identifying himself by name and badge number and representing Chase; asking for my full name and credit card number and explaining that call is being mentored. I will file a report with Chase Visa about this obvious scam.

Whenever I get a call from a number I don't recognize I do a search before I answer it.  hmm JP Morgan or Chase I have no credit cards, loans or outstanding debts.  Don't know why they would call me.

They've been calling my cell repeatedly. 5 TIMES TODAY and it's a Saturday. Blocking doesn't work.
