I received the call at mid of September. The lady name is 徐文君 and company name is "ACI GuangDong Limited". Same thing I won a car and she help me changed it to HKD 50,7153 (SDG80K). I need to call 外汇银行 (Foreign Exchange Bank) to confirm my temporary account and the amount. She almost every day called to advise me go transfer the money to my SPore account. But I need to pay the fee for bank SDG 3k. I said then I don't the HKD50k if I need to pay SDG3K. She got shock, and keep explain the 3k is for HK gov not her company. Every day call me just ask me don't worry, it is real price. Until yesterday I told her why not your company or lawyer pay the fee for me 1st, once I get the money I ll pay back to you. Then she faster off the line and today finally didn't receive any call from her. Haha

I got a call 2 months ago, and is on going. This lady naming herself as tang yahui (tang Director, or can call her big sis tang "tang da jie" - over here i wil ljust call her ms tang) called me to inform me that I won an audi call from singapore local event on Mar, and asked if i atteneded. i told her that i did not attend as there is no one telling me about the event. she skipped to say that there should be someone calling me and informed me about the events , and said i should be too busy and forget about it. At first, i recall i received similiar call 2 years ago regarding i won a bmw from a different company. On the first chat call, a lady explaint everything regarding the price and converting to cash and send over required a few thousand dollars which i immediately told them... just donate out the money, i don't need them (becuase it is obviously a scam) this time round, they used different technic , when i asked them in the first call, do i have to fork up any amount to transfer the winning prize ? Ms Tang sounded abit surprised and replied me no and why me what am i talking about and explained i do not need to fork out any amount and they can set up a temp account over Hongkong to collect the amount from the sponsoered company and let me verify... so the conversation goes on for a few times without asking me to fork out any money.

There is non free lunch in the world, so i always remind myself, don't count the egg before they are hatch. If the winning is true, i will have the money, if not, just an entertainment to play with them on the phone call to see what they are up to their sleeve and also to warn others about this case with full story... Ms tang told me to call +85265298233 to check out on the amount to verify the amount is correct. At first the account wasn't set up properly, i tried and was prompted incorrect, so when she called back i told her is incorrect, and told me to retry again before she asked the security branch technician to check on the account. After a while when iam free, i tried.. it's working.... i don't bother to call back and Ms Tang called back the next day to check. I told her the amount is correct. And she congratz me and ask me to treat her when she is coming to singapore in year end to setup a company in singapore with her company. WOAH... all sounded so true that i am going to win the amount of money. LOL... to me, as long as i don't get the money, i will never believe whatever she said.

Days later a guy from so call calling from something like Bank of HongKong or whatever called (+85265298233) told me that they are about to process the transfer but they are short of a document. He asked me to approach the company that was trying to send the amount of money to my local POSB bank to send the required document to him before 1535hr before he can process with  the transaction. I called back Ms Tang to inform her about this and she said she will call to check, then later she called back to tell me i have to pay a 4% of the fund in order to transfer from a bank to another which exceed the amount of $25k or abv (which is a policy in the finance world) which in this case i need to fork out abt 3k+....

SO.. Finally .... back to first call topic from years ago... i have to fork out some amount to purchase an insurance to have the amount send over... and will be refund after the transcation is over....

I told Ms Tang that this is exactly the same scenario i had few years back.... telling her about my worries of scam... she tell me, 3k+ is something like her salary and she can promise is not a scam.. if it is.. she can pay me back... (LOL... hello? i don't even know her... she can made any empty promises on the phone, who cares? she sound like it is very real and she can be responsible for all the things she said. DONT fall for it... she got your detail, but you have none!!! y should you trust her?)

If everything is true, the insurance amount could have be deducted from the winning money to use as the transfer to transfer the fund....[***] about the company policy about not able to use the fund for other things... if it is using it as a fund to transfer to you is consider other things... it's is just an excuse for a scam...

Finally i am reviewing the number i received...+85230501913

    I received a call from +852 30501913 too!
The lady has been trying to talk to me since 31 May but i was busy.
It seems i also won the 2nd prize....how many winners are there?? haha
Anyway, since she asked if i need the prize, i said i don't need it....that surprised her.
She then said the price is only for me & no one else can redeem it.
I said i have not heard of the company or the event, and they can't even text or email me....of course i don't trust them.
So she gave me a website (which is not even their company website....only a site to check for registered company...anyone can register a company: p) and it turned out to be ACI GUANGDONG LIMITED, which led me to this post.
    I don't think i'll hear from her again: p

I just got the same call. The lady name is Lee Xin from ACI GUANGDONG LIMITED.

Also told me that I won the 2nd prize - Audi Car as I was not there at their recent event in Mustafa. She say that it is good to beware of scams and keep saying that they are real. She even mentioned that once I received the money, i will feel so apologetic that i misunderstood her. LOL. seriously there is no free lunch in this world.

I doubt I will even call the bank to double check on the amount. Waste my time and money.

    Thanks for posting!

HI, everyone. I have received a call from +852 30697560/+852 68115278, say I have win a 3 prize to europe worth RM300,000. There are 3 winner for 3rd prize, two from malaysia, one from Singapore. She said another Malaysian winner have get the money cause he don't want to go to trip cause his wife is pregnant. She inform me that they do call me on March and make a telephone survey sth like that, yeah I remember it. She said that she also ask me to watch the tv show broadcast that day, unfortunately i didn't see it or i don't even act cause i don't know how to find the show on internet. She claim their company will set up a company here in Malaysia so they did this survey. She is from 潮流國際精品百貨商城 (TREND) http://www.caoliubuy.com/help.aspx?id=38 , they even ask me to login to the event of the website, and i saw a list of the winner. Company address of the website is 香港灣仔皇後大道東183號合和中心13層A區(I just make a phone call to this  HK hopewell centre合和中心, the location of this company , pretend i want to rent  an office there, ask  do they have 13th floor office, the employee of the centre said 13th floor is car park.)Ok, now i Know the address from the website is fake.

I am so exciting and they act so real, i even gave them my ID no and bank account. They act so real and persuasive, until their accounting department head  Mandy ZHANG YU LAN (+852 68115217)call me , that i need to supply document like Statement of the source is come from this show, it will charge a fees(RM4950) , they can help me give it to the authority of HK, or some sort of banking system. This fee can be refund later.
This lady said she already inform the banking system abt the money and will bank it to me superfast, If i finish  the last step, paying the fees myself, send it to the banking system by them. I feel suspicous here and stop her that i have sth to do now, i will call you back.
Then another girl from the banking system Jin Kong Zhong Xin surname is Wong call me(+85265272004), said the RM300,000 is now ready for transfer to me but just need the Statement of the Source. I try to ask her abt her company or bank, Gosh! she said she is just a tiny employee, know nothing abt the company, like company registration or bank name or whatsoever, perhap she is a newbie with no patient.

Till here  I guess the possibility of scam is quite big? everyone do you agree.
    Sorry for poor english.

    Dumb Victim
It happened in a chain of months. it started with in May when a girl called Zhang Mei Feng called to ask me to join an event they have organised in Singapore Expo. I obviously didnt go and took it as a prank. It was said that the event was held in June. Then a few days ago, (July), she called to said that I have won the 2nd prize. To me, I totally did not believe. But they called me when I was asleep so I was stupid and blur enough to give them my Name and my IC no. Another lady with the same number called to verify my information. She said she was the Superior of Mei Feng, and her name is Lin Ya Jing. To me, the two person sound exactly like the same person voice... She didn't ask anything else up until now. Only tried to dissuade me in telling my friends until I get the money. She claimed that her company is 萬利投資有限公司... In the first place, I dont understand how they got my number. I hope they wont use my name and IC number to do bad things. the number is also from HongKong: +852 3069 7501. If this company is true at all, please do tell me too.

Ahh.... so you are the other winner from Malaysia, 陈先生 from Seremban. Congratulations!
And, congratulations on your baby coming soon.   haha....

I didn't entertain them much, just told them I was busy. And will check what is my bank account as I didn't have the account number with me. If they do call me again, will just play along if I have the time, and see what they plan to do. In between will throw them some interesting questions.... it will be fun to see how they respond.    eg. ask them to confirm they had the event at Singapore Expo on 26 May, then said I was there to attend exhibition the whole day but did see their event..... see how they respond.  Or tell them I'm actually at 灣仔皇後大道東 now and I can be at their office in 5 minutes.... and so on.

    Annoyed
This woman who conversed 95% of the time in Mandarin said I won 2nd place in a lucky draw for a survey I did a few months back, and my number was selected on this HK show during that time. Got the call yesterday from this HK number while I was sleeping and I stupidly gave them my IC, DOB and bank account number, which the woman said will send the details to the finance department. That woman even gave me her name, Wang DanDan from some company called Hang Wei which deals in travel investments, which I found out was all fake after I went to Google the company and the number they gave me to call them back, +852 30697402.

I got the phone call from the finance department this morning from another random number (before that all the numbers they called me by were all different). I asked her a few questions because she was speaking in Mandarin the whole way and asked her to translate in English which she ignored, then the part about the lawyers handling the transfer of the money came up, which was VERY similar to these posts which thankfully I stumbled across yesterday while searching the number online. I hung up the phone right after that.

Is it possible to lodge police reports on these phone calls? They seem to keep targeting people in Malaysia and Singapore very often.

Thanks to all the post too... this few months I been receiving same calls.... and one of it is the same caller as Mandy.. the stories are all the same....lucky draw.. live broadcast show...can convert the prize into cash..need to pay a guarantee fees to take the prize....and it will be easier using their lawyer service. I have checked with the local broadcast channel provider but no live show was schedule for the mentioned date.

Hello.... common sense la.. if you win a prize....you'll just need simple details verification then only you can claim the prize already but she tried to convince me that each country has its own games terms and conditions as Hong Kong one need to pay that money as a proof payment source and will be refund once transaction is done. Too good to be true? After much problem I posted to her.. she changed her tactics to asking me the way I wish this can be done... I mentioned asking my HK friend to check for me.. She just change the topic to other things....

I must admit, I am tempted but luckily I always remind myself on all this scam and NO Free Gift on Earth that need you to pay a small percent of its value to be able to claim it and refund you later.

But I'll keep entertaining their calls as I don't really have any other things to do.... so let them call me from HK la.....is their phone bills.... unless it charge both way bills... then.... just HANG UP!

Got a call from +852 3069 7501 as well (exact same number as Dumb Victim above, but different company name and caller name). Caller name is Lee Xin.
Company name this time is 信偉國際有限公司 or SENWORLD INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.

Called in May to ask me to attend some event on 21 June at Victoria Street (Which I obviously din bother to). Then called me again a couple of weeks later to inform me that I won second prize in the event, an Audi, and that my phone number was flashed on the screen but I did not collect. Asked me if I would like to go over to Hong Kong to collect the prize or send it over in cash to Singapore. Asked for my Chinese name, D.O.B and IC number. When I asked for their company info and website etc, she guided me to check out their company by giving me the CR no. 0320736 to check on www.icris.cr.gov.hk to prove that the company exists. But I could not find any other information about the company on the web. When I told her that I have my doubts that I really won so much money, she said that its right that I am doubtful as there are a lot of scams going on recently. She reassure me that its true if not they would not bother to call me so many times (I rejected their calls 4 or 5 times before as I sensed that it was a scam). She say she will call me again to confirm the details of the transfer. Went to type in the phone number into google and found this page.

Added the number to my phone's auto-reject list
