- Sarah| 2 repliesThey first called from an unavaible number telling me they were a currier and to call another number.I then asked what the matter was about she informed me it is illegal for her to have that information. She left this number on my voicemail I called a man named Adam then stated I owed 5,000 in debt and legal fees. He then stated he could take my debt to 3,000 if I could pay him 500 right now over the phone.I told him I had no money and he then threated that I would be put in prison or they could put a lean on my property. He emailed me a form stating I needed to sign and fax back.He said he was with Certified recovery group.I then googled them only to find a Veternairy Clinic he gave me another number to reach him 951-268-4664 That is in Irvington California So happy I googled this

- MikeyI have received over 400 calls from this number in just the past 3 months.
It started out as 1 or 2 calls a day, and now they call me at least 7 times a day, usually more. The most calls I got from this number in one day was 18 calls....
I answer, no one is there, and even using my "mr. number" to send them to voicemail, out of 400+ calls they have NEVER left a message.- Caller: No Idea
- Mikey replies to From South FloridaYes it is very strange!!!
They've called me hundreds of times in the past few months. 18 calls in one day is their record with me. Funny thing is when I actually do answer, no one is there on the other line... lol
Thank god I have an auto-voicemail app for numbers like these ;) - Ron PalaciosI recently started receiving calls from this number and I get 2 or 3 calls per day and when I answer, i get an automated system.

- tcCalled 3x 8:23 am 11:31am and 3:17pm no message
- Not Fooled and Not DelinquentThese @$$holes are Scammers masquerading as a Collection Agency. Other reverse lookup services trace this number back to "Credit One" but they sometimes spoof caller ID saying "United States". Call recipients report they may ask for credit card numbers, bank accounts, and social security numbers (information that a legitimate creditor would already have), exactly the kinds of things an identity thief would want to collect. Don't answer, don't return calls, and report this number to local, state and federal law enforcement (as if they will do a damn thing about it). Check your credit report for suspicious activity, and file fraud alerts with the three major credit reporting agencies. This may make it more difficult for scammers to open credit accounts in your name.
- Caller: UNITED STATES (aka Credit One)
- Call type: Debt collector
- In Your Face replies to bobbyAnd you are?
1) Shill (sock puppet) working for scammers, trying to humiliate crime-victims into remaining silent
2) Garden-variety Internet Troll
3) All of the above - Debbie replies to resilientI pay them through, consumer credit. I don't know why they are calling me. I did answer once and they put me on hold and never did talk to me.

They are a high risk credit card company whom, as of late, some very scrupulous policies that change every other month.
If you are having problems with them, you can call the number above which in every call that I've had to make, undoubtedly happens.
You are on hold for about an hour and s half, then you speak to a CSR customer service rep that speaks broken English.
Each and every time I speak with them they become very rude, loud and lucivious, obnoxious.
Since I used to work for Visa®, I know the procedures of payment and collection. When I produce documentation, they suddenly disconnect. If you have s bill and s w whomever have pen & paper, get names and extentions.
If you still have problems with them, you can get effective government help via the following.
Www.my bank.gov there you will see many options and procedures that you can implement.
This company is not following the guidelines set by the feds.
Remember. You're in charge. Document EVERYTHING!!
Then when the time comes you can exercise your consumer rights.
Lastly, they do not s w me because I used to work for Visa® and I put them on the spot.b
I hope this helps. Double check the website for creditone.com® for different departments. P.s they do not send customer service emails for any disputes, you have to call them.
Funny, all the other credit cards can do it, now this credit company used to do it and that is no longer an option. They have over 500+ consumers complaints which suggests the validity of the company to be questionable. - Jerry replies to Susan Watts
- Johnny replies to SarahDid you have any legal problems after the same number and guy is calling me non stop now
