The robo caller message claimed to be calling in behalf of my health insurance carrier and to stay on the line.  I contacted my carrier and they said that they were not associated with Matrix Medical and that I should block future calls.  I explained that I had hung up and researched the company on-line.  They had a website under Matrix Medical, one using the name of my inusrance carrier, also press releases.  The insurance rep assured me the websites were not legitimate and the information I supplied would be forwarded to the proper department for futher action.

I answered an 'UNKNOWN' call. There was a delay, then a non-foreign sounding woman asked for my uncle, by name.  I didn't identify my relationship but simply asked who was calling and she claimed, as noted by VLR, that she was calling from his insurance company, MVP.  I asked for a call back number which was the same as on my phone's record and the one being investigated here. I suspected it was a scam immediately, so I 'Googled' the number.  My uncle is 87 years old and lives alone.  I spend two days a week with him.  As independent as he is, he is not tech or scam savvy.  Thankfully, I had changed all his medical and insurance contact numbers to mine, to protect him. I share this as another senior scam.  I will notify MVP as VLR did.
