855-287-8191

This is a second number used by axxess payments to call me. A woman calls from this one and a man calls from 514-800-8444.  I found complaints about them online but none are yet registered with BBB.  I am beginning to feel a bit harassed by all the calls to my business to get me to use them as credit/debit service broker.

We had been receiving calls from 855 287 8191, a very soft spoken man, who informs
me that he is calling to help me with our debit visa mastercard machine costs, and only
his company can lower the costs.  I inform him that I am happy with who I have, and then
he starts to get louder, telling me that no no no, only his company can lower the costs.

We have been receiving these calls about every 3 weeks, and each time I firmly tell them
to remove me from their phone list, but he just keeps on talking....

855-287-8191 … yesterday and today morning, same time. I put them on hold and let them wait.

I've received a number of calls from this number, but I've either been at work or out, so I don't get to answerr the call, ... other than the answering machine, and they NEVER leave a message!!  Today though (Mar19/12), I picked up, paused for a few seconds, then in a deeper than normal voice, said: "Hullo!".  I could hear other voices in the background and hung up!!

So much for being on "DO NOT CALL" lists!!

I have been receiving calls from 855-287-8191 for weeks now. They call at least 2 times a day and I am beginning to consider this harassment. Does anyone know how to stop this nonsense! I no longer answer any calls from toll free service numbers. Maybe I will have to get the kids recorder out again and give them a good blast in their ear...maybe that will get me off their call list.

Maybe if all of us give them a good blast with a recorder they will quit bothering us!

i have been getting calls like this for months now and its every day sometimes they talk sometimes they dont.....i am now going to blow  a whistle blast in their ear because its very annoying when you are trying to conduct business

i have been recieving calls endlessly .....explained i do not want to recieve calls any more so looked them up on internet and www.axxesspayments.com and got this phone number   877-537-1961       guess who is calling them 20 times a day now( since its a free call) and i keep leaving messages saying i want to talk to someone about the price of eggs, or the price of milk and how i could reduce this price for them if they call me back. :) he he he

I just got a 3rd call from them but no-one speaks it is just dead air.  So I called the 877 number from pals (comment from pals) and now my name and business number will be sent to a supervisor.  I don't think that will help but at least I called to complain and I sternly told her that I didn't want a call back from anyone and to please stop calling here that we were not interested in their business.

Called me twice yesterday from 855.287.8191 but left no message. The name on my caller ID was Toll-Free Service.

Ask to put them on hold for a moment and then just leave the phone for 10-15 minutes. They always hang up and never call back. Plus, by doing this, you are eating up their precious time and it's all about time in the telemarketing world.
I have also given the phone to my toddlers who are learning how to talk. Those have been some funny moments.

I have the same problem - this person never leaves messages. They call 4 times daily around the same time.
I too find this to be harassement.
So much for the do not call list - the CRTC should do something about calls from the US and elsewhere.

Hello Everyone. My name is Todd Scholl and I am with a company named Access Payment Systems, Inc out of Littleton, Colorado. We have received several calls, BBB complaints and web inquiries from people that think we are the company calling and harrassing them endlessly. I wish I could help all of you but we are not the company contacting you. Even though the name is close the company contacting you is Access Payments. We are Access Payment Systems, which isn't the same. We never do any outbound telemarketing, we don't use dialers and we never do business with anyone in Canada and I am quite certain all of you are in Canada. I am glad some of you have listed the number that is calling you and I see a website above of www.axxesspayments.com so I can use this to do some research myself because this has become quite the pain in the rear for us too. However, I do have some helpful information for all of you. Thanks to some individuals on this site I was able to find the company that is the culprit. I was also able to talk with the person in charge of sales support and we had a very good conversation. They new people were complaining but didn't realize the extent of the terrible reputation they were creating and how much businesses across Canada really hated them. They also didn't know people were calling my company to complain about them. She (Leila) indicated they would talk to their bosses and address the issue. Not sure if they will change what they are doing but it was a step in the right direction. I emailed them this website so they could read the complaints for themselves. So with that said, here is all the information I have on this company.

three days running now. Saw the number on call display and ignored the calls, sent the calls straight to voice mail. Did not leave any messages.

Googled the number the first time they called and found this post so ignored the call.

Daily I get these calls at my place of employment. Call display comes up as Toll Free Service. I pick it up and then SLAM down the receiver.
Wish someone would deal with these idiots and shut them down!!!!!!!

Getting calls at my business from this number, but no one when I pick up. If I wait, probably someone answers.

Daily calls from above number this week.  All hang-ups on my VM.

Calling the number directs the call to a VM:
"Extension 0317 is not available.  Please leave a message after the tone."

I talked to the receptionist, eventually, and asked her to remove my number from their call list.  Within a couple of days, the phone was quiet, and we never heard from this Montreal-based company again.  Suggest you do the same.
