They called my cell. I didn't answer, they didn't leave message.  I looked them up here and saw all the messages.  I called them back.  After a short hold, they answered. I gave them my phone number.  They asked for a woman I don't know, I told them it was a wrong or old number.  The rep thanked me, and we hung up.  Overall, not a bad call, and hopefully the wrong calls stop.  

I don't know if it was collections, or sales, or political, or anything else.

Calls are for a Cheryl Jefferson ref # 180440 - NO ONE EXISTS AT OUR COMPANY WITH THIS NAME...  Calls begin on voice mail at 1:09 AM and latest recorded as of now is 8:58 PM...
Over 30 calls in a 24 hour period.  This company needs to be shut down for harrassment!

They say their name is Convergent and they are a "financial institution" company.

Call every hour on the hour fot the past 5hrs and wont leave a message

They keep calling asking for someone who does not live here, never has...

This is nuts. I don't know who these people are but they don't even have the courtesy to use a human being to call and they call all the time. Some computerized voice from a "Kelly" someone who wants to verify that my number belongs to someone I don't know. Accidentally pressed the wrong # (3 instead of the wrong number response #) and now am worried about getting more calls. I am going to have to change my OOMA number. This is nuts. If the call was for us and is a collection agency, we haven't owed a debt or had an open credit card in over eleven years. We pay for everything in cash to keep the books clean and keep ourselves out of debt.

I agree with you but most State and Federal government debts do not have a limit of statute associated with them. Our state is going after 30 plus year old missing payments.

These morons called and didn't leave a message. I called them back and asked to speak with the manager. Once I had him on, I proceeded to tell him his company has 3 outstanding debts that need to be attended to. He hung up on me so I tried again every hour for 8 consecutive hours.

Debt Collector tries to get info from you ie SSN and address but won't give any to you.  Says it's a private business matter.
