    Has called my cell phone three times in the last week but doesn’t leave a message.  Call display says CIBC.

    My Costco Mastercard was declined at Costco and when I returned home a call came on my cell first which I ignored then a call on the home phone with caller ID of CIBC. He knew my card had been declined and offered to fix it. I declined and phoned the number on my card. I got my card reactivated and they checked and no one from CIBC had called me. They some how knew my card had been declined (it was actually due to another transaction I had made) and were able to access that information. Always hang up and call the number on your card!
