They're saying there Comcast support I don't believe not once first i can not understand a word broken English bad second you have to verify with a account pin and they didn't even ask don't know the purpose of all this, I have a business account with Comcast Verizon is starting to look really good. Bottom line Scammers calling.

Probably as hard to understand them as it was to read that post. They are certainly not Comcast support. Just so you know, Verizon has farmed their customer support out to India as well. Both companies are subject to scam callers pretending to be them.

Received a call/voicemail  from this number a few hours after I made arrangements for a Comcast technician to come to my home the following day. The voicemail sound legit.. a woman saying it was Comcast following up on the problem I reported. When I called, a man with an Indian accent said he was Comcast Technical Support, but when he asked for my Comcast account number I became suspicious, telling him that since he called me he ought to know my account number. I told him I didn’t need his help because someone was scheduled to come to my home the following day. I then ended the call and decided to Google the phone number and had my suspicion confirmed. The person called back and I proceeded to tell him off, end the call and block the number.

Anytime someone from India calls you to help you with a "tech issue" you can be 100% certain that it is a scam call.

thnx i received this call also & since i was hacked in2 last december & have already had 2 trips from comcast techy people i was suspicious about this call.  and sadly it seems ALL companies now outsource their calls because all the company wants is profit, profit, profit !!  so, i will NOT call this number back !  wonder if comcast knows about this or even care ?
