These people are idiots. Bay Area Credit collection. Their system will call you automatically daily usually around 6pm.

I got two calls today from this number (855-515-3445) and was in the middle of a client meeting. They left no message.  When I tried to call the number back it wouldn't go through.  So, I looked it up here and discovered it's some wacky scammer company.  Has anyone discovered an effective means of stopping the calls as from other postings I fear this is just the beginning of an annoying series of calls.  Someone said they blocked the number from their phone.  How do you do that?

They supposedly removed my number from their records over a month ago because they were looking for my foster brother yet I am receiving calls again!  I have filed with the BBB they did not respond.  I have sent emails they have not responded, I have attempted to send a fax, it doesnt go through!  They are NOT even looking for me and yet they keep calling!@

I've received more than seven calls on my cell phone from this number asking for my daughter(who is in a nursing home). The first two times they identified themselves as bay area credit, since those calls they have not.I have no idea what they are calling about,when I ask, they cite privacy laws.I nno longer answer their calls, After reading some of the other posts and if they persist I'll consider putting my atty. on it as I believe it may be some type of scam to aquire personal information from persons who may not be capable of understanding what they're doing.

The website looks similar to those used by this AZ group of SCAMMERS. Play along with them, any of them, to get any contact info for revenge 'cause the GVT don't care?  P.S. they call me almost everyday to my cellphone.
initially, I answer them and no one is talking, so i don't answer them now.
still calls me daily but no messages.

I talked to these people months ago, they keep calling me early in the morning and waking me up to collect a debt for someone that's not even me! They promised me at that time they would delete my name, however the calls have started again, very early in the morning, waking me up!  I called them this morning to tell them to get my name off their list (again), they HUNG UP on me!  So I called back and told them what they are doing is against the law, I've already reported them, and if they keep it up I'm going to bring legal action against them for harrassment.  Be warned folks, these people are not professionals, as should be obvious by their using a bogus phone number to show up on caller ID, and they are operating on the fringes of the law.  I would suggest anyone getting these calls make a complaint for their violation of the fair debt collection practices act.

I only have a tmobile cell phone and they called me as well I'm being to believe that tmobile sell our telephone numbers to companies just like other companies. BEWARE. Bay area credit service calls my cell 6:15 am everyday for 3 weeks now.  They use the number 855-515-3445 to ghost themself their real number is 408-392-4400 maybe we should flood tmobile with calls everyday at 6:00 am until they help as well as the other telephone providers. Tmobile said its nothing they can do but give you a new number.
