I received a suspicious phone call from the number +1 855-647-7208. The caller claimed to be representing a Japanese government agency and attempted to obtain personal information under the pretense of immigration or legal issues.
The call was unsolicited and appeared to be a scam. The caller used threatening language and demanded sensitive data, including my passport number and residency details.
I am reporting this incident because it appears to be an international scam targeting individuals in Japan or those connected to Japanese authorities.
Please investigate this number and take appropriate action to prevent further fraudulent activity.

This site is not connected to the Japanese Government and is not a proper channel to report such matters to them.
Your request to investigate needs to be directed to an actual agency of the Japanese Government.
I suggest you use a search engine (like Google or Bing) to determine just where your request needs to be sent.
