I've started to get calls from this number and now added it to my blocked caller list. Thanks everyone for their information.

I got my new cell phone from Rogers yesterday. Today I got a call from this number. Blank message

These guys have been calling several times, it is an Indy accent, the guy says only hello, hello, that's all. I don't freaking know what the freaking purpose is.

I've had the same experience as many on here where I quickly pick up and the connection is immediately broken.  However, one time there was someone there who wanted to ensure my Rogers wireless services were adequate for my needs.  When I told him that we had just purchased new phones and plans, so all of our needs were met he thanked me and that was the end of the call.  While that was professionally handled, my issue is why I'm still getting calls with no one there.

Oh, and these calls have been on my brand new Rogers phone number.

this phone number 1-885-760-4841 please block this phone number for me or take my name off the list. thanks you

Unfortunately, the CRTC Do Not Call list does not apply if you are a customer of that company, e.g. Rogers.
Not that call centres in the Philippines (#1 worldwide) or India (#2) give a hoot about our do not call lists anyway.

Appeared on call display as Rogers. I never picked it up.

They've called twice left no message once I answered and there was nobody there.
