They going me all the time wanting me to pay a settlement figure, I asked them to send me the settlement figure by post. Have never received anything but they ring all the time, on different numbers

Some one called me from this number, why and who
called.

He just called asking for Bob H............... (my deceased husband) I asked why and he said a business matter.   I replied:  Well, he's been dead for 23 years so that would be a little difficult...    

I answer no answer from them....cold calling people. Tired of them

Thanks for posting all the info on this number.  They have been calling me every day for the past several days, but they always call while I'm at work so I don't answer.  They never leave a message, but thanks to all of you, I know now to just ignore them.  I set my phone to send the calls straight to voice mail now!

Not if you owe a debt. They are a debt collector. Although, from what I understand, a pretty shady one.

I received two calls from this number. It came up on my phone as "Unknown Name" and they didn't leave a message. I see from previous comments on this thread that this was a collections agency in India. This number will go on my blocked list.

Called asking for Jeff. Insisted Jeff was on the account. Wouldn't tell me what the account was about. Accent was a good giveaway about what the caller was after. I told him to leave me alone for good.

I didnt get a call I got redirected from doing a search on yahoo saying that I had a virus and to contact this #8558002146 to talk to a charter tech who would help me. I did not call the # I looked it up & glad I did. This deserves some payback anonymously.

Got a call from this number they don't identify themselves first. They ask for my information before saying who they are.

Just got a call from the 8558003145, claims his name is Diego Garcia, however he didnt sound like that was his name as he couldn't pronounce it. He asked for my husband, I worked in collections for 9 years, FDCPA laws state leagully whether talking to the right person or not you have to say the company you represent i repeatedly asked him what company he was calling from he stated he was following protocal and that he wouldnt tell me that unless i confess to being the person financially responsible for my husband. Now another thing, if my husband has a debt in his name with out me they can not talk to me but still have to say what company they are with. Which he kept trying to get financial info.
Its my gut feeling on this, i am sure it is a scam. Coming from someone who studied the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act like crazy. I know when they are legit and this guy doesnt seem it. Also, i called the number back and he answered with a "hello" not his name and company which you are also required to do when you work in collections. Not to mention there was no company opening just a weird ring. DONT TRUST THIS NUMBER....

IF HE GIVES YOU A NAME OF A DEBT COMPANY YOU OWE TO CALL THE COMPANY AND VERIFY THROUGH THE ACTUAL COMPANY. DO NOT, GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!

This is a scam number. Do not answer. Block this number. When you receive a call from a number that reads out  "unknown name"  they have blocked their identity from you. Do not answer such a call. We've learned not to answer. Even though no conversation takes place,they have learned that your number is a working number and the time you answered. They sell this info., multiplying the number of times you will be harassed.
