This is such an unprofessional company with Rude a** employees! They never even told me what the call was about they just ask me to verify my information. As if i was .

I too have recvd calls from Convergent...   In April I experienced  online bank fraud @ my bank. Closed the account and opened new one. The bank has provided support but the damage has been done.  Accounts were opened by TMobile for criminals for phones, hot spots, etc. etc.  using a variation of my name, including my address for billing.  Am fighting with TMobile and Convergent about these fraudulent accounts.  This is not to mention multiple credit card attempts opened in my name, which I did not order.  These numerous credit requests have driven down my credit score...which I am trying to repair with the credit bureaus.  I had my credit report locked but the damage has been done.  It is now November and this all started in April.  There seems to be no end to it. Recvd fraudulent email today with bank logo...trying to get me to sign in.  NEVER sign in to an account via email.  It is very frustrating.

I get calls from debt collectors all the time for medical bills that my husband and I just don't have the money to pay. But here is a bit of advice.... if the person on the other end refuses to verify who they are and why they are calling but demand information from you then it is a scam for sure. If they threaten you or intimidate you in any way then it is a scam. Legitimate debt collectors, by law, have to state who they are and why they are calling and it is illegal for them to make threats of wage garnishments, court summons, or even jail time. they have called my phone at least 6 times a day . everytime i pick up they say nothing. they refuse to leave any messages and when i call back they act as if they dont know who is calling and try to get personal information from me without telling me who they are.

I trump all stories Lol! I bought a 90 day prepaid hotspot device may I repeat "PREPAID". I liked the service so I transferred my 3 line account from ATT plus additional Iphone 6S and 6S plus and IPAD pro. Now 4 months down I am in collections not for the 3 line account which I pay promptly but for a hotspot device that I got as a "PREPAID".  I already went to 2 TMO stores and was advised to disregard the notice, which I did. Now I am getting phone calls from this number everyday for the prepaid device!!! I AM ON COLLECTION FOR A PREPAID DEVICE! :) Just like North Shore Gas who threatened to cut my line for missing a months payment."But I have a credit of $1,200", I said. "That is unrelated", they responded. Something is waayyyy wrong in this world.....or America maybe??? ....AT&T suddenly looks a lot better!!!

So it's you that's trumping. I was blaming the dog. Could you please stop it ! There are   people trying to eat in here. I nearly choked on my broccoli. What a whiff!. Thought something had died.
