Effective September 7, 2012, the BBB Accreditation Application for Platinum Travel Network, Inc. was denied. The company failed to provide additional information requested by the BBB regarding the industry in which they operate.

My husband received the same letter today claiming he won 2 roundtrip airline tickets and 2 nights hotel and to call this number to claim it.  It was "signed" by Elise Warren.  Went in the shredder.  Total scam.

Received letter, no letterhead just says "Fly the US Airlines", asking for rsvp by 10-12-13??????

Said I won2 free tkts and 2 free nights at any one of 1000 Marriott Hotels.........value $1398.  Please call 855-879-8217????? And, a claim # signed by Elise Warren, Guest Svcs Mgr.  (FOR WHO, iT DOESN'T SAY) Sounds like a real scam to me!
Someone should notify the US Postal Svce or something.  I am not contacting anyone who can't afford letterhead or a real phone number.........they called them travel vouchers???????  THIS SMELLS LIKE A SCAM!!!!

Thanks everyone.  Sounded like a scam to me as well, but it's good to hear that y'all thought so, too.  I will shred the letter.

Wow!!  I'm the luckiest man in the world.  Last week I won passes to a weekend getaway worth $1000+, and now 2 round trip tickets and stay at a Marriott anywhere in the country.

If you get this letter, just throw it away.

I received a letter fold from them today. At first I thought, must be a bill or government as it had my middle initial, something I do not normally use in communications. When I read it, I almost went to dial, thinking this must be from a bill collector who is going to extraordinary lengths to get me to call. I thought, I have nothing to fear, but then I remembered a few months back a call from the Dominican Republic that showed up on my bill (I had it removed, they called me and I hadn’t answered!). I figured I better look it up before dialing to make sure of where or whom it was coming from. The dates are done oddly, the 14th, need to call by April 24th, 2014, has US AIR SOUTHWEST AND JET BLUE and MARRIOTT HOTEL. Value of the 2 tickets supposedly $1,398.00. Their return number is listed as 1-855-867-8217 signed by Carla Streetman, Guest Services Manager. I simply typed the number into my browser and it gave me several sites, all noting this as a scam! My suggestion, is not to call them, just contact your local post office or FBI (we have one in town!) and let them track it down. This is considered a crime, whether your post office will treat it as such, is another matter. I’m concerned where they got my info, since it included my middle initial, not something that is one much other than government documents and my SS card. Warning: Just don’t fall for it. A little common sense and a bit of thinking, and even me, blonde to the bone, picked up on that something was off on this. -
