This call is from a company called financial recoveries..they call themselves finrec. they are located in Mt. laurel NJ, and they are a collection agency for delinq. hospital bills

Just got a call from this number, she did the same thing and i told her I don't know what she is talking about.

Just got a call from that number asking to speak to my wife. When I asked what they wanted or more importantly who it was , they said never mind ill call back later. Some thing is shady with someone who won't tell you at least there name . Don't answer them don't give them any information.

Do not answer their questions. Make them identify themselves fully. This could be a scam collection company.

Received two calls from this number..when I called back the message had no indication of who I was but asked for the home phone number and the last four of my social....when they call they do not leave a message...very fishy indeed. I will be blocking the number from my phone.

Caller will not identify themselves - he keeps asking to identify ourselves.   We asked what it was in regard to and he would not answer.  My husband hung up on him.

Got a call from them today 9/3/13 asking for my exwife.  Like you all they wouldn't answer any of my questions but had the nerves to ask me if i had another # for my exwife.  F@©k no!  Click.

I get a call from this number every morning at 10am. I do not have any debts, no doctor bills, nothing, i dont know who they are, but i did answer once and some soft spoken man asked me for my social, and also called me by a previous married name from 6 years ago, i told him that person doesnt exist and hung up.

I've gotten two calls from this number. I figured it was a scam like everyone was saying. The weird part is, along with these calls, they left messages. The messages are a few seconds long and contain what sounds like the same voice moaning for like two seconds and then that's it. So weird.

I got a call last week from this number, and a call just yesterday; man gave me his name as Mark Stenson, and told me that he is a lawyer from a collection agency, looking for information to collect a debt owed to St Michael's Hospital {my mother and I were both patients at that hospital}; I informed him, the FIRST time he called, that I would have my attorney call him back, since he was asking me privileged info {ss#;,bank information; and when I was going to send him a $1600.00 check!!}.
When he called yesterday, he demanded payment; I told him that my attorney would get back to him and for him to STOP calling ME. He said he had the right to call me, and I disagreed, asking him, "WHo gave you THAT right?" He answered, THE LAW; so I told him to have a nice weekend with his law, and if he called me again, I would file charges with consumer fraud, better business bureau, and the police, since he refused to tell me the name of the company he was calling from unless I gave him my credit card number to pay a debt owed to St Michael, and then I hung up on the creep.

The law does not give anyone the right to continue harassing phone calls, regardless if a debt is indeed owed.  ,

Thanks so much for the info.  I got a call on my cell this morning from this number. Didn't pick up and I'm soooo glad I didn't.  These comment boards are a life saver.  

Just got a new phone # from NJ and started getting calls from this #. Have requested them to remove my number from their file as i am not the person who they want to talk to. Still keep calling me.

I generally will not answer calls with unspecified names and/or strange numbers.  I have been receiving calls/no messages from this number for a few months.  I did get two identical robo-call type, ridiculous messages in the past two weeks, however.  I taped one for future reference.  They claim to be a debt collection agency and are looking for an individual who is not me.  ... if I continue to listen to the message I am admitting I am this other person and I should call 800-220-0270 immediately...blahblah. They claim to be "financial recoveries."  I don't know how they got my number because I am not this person and I don't owe anyone any $.  Could this be fraud?  I googled the number and they are apparently from NJ.  I plan to report this to the BBB and state attorney general office. I am not returning the call from this outfit.

You must be Deborah  Oh sorry "unknown name" calling from 856-669-6222 who cannot tell me the name of the company you work for because why? oh that's right I'll figure out you are a collection agency! Well since you won't tell me the name of the company you are calling from and don't supply it to caller ID I'll just have to assume you are a scammer or a prostitute. They never give out the name of who they work for. May I call your boss JOHN?

Got a call from this number, they asked for my father, I asked the man where he was calling from and he said, "My Office",  I hung up on this idiot immediately!!

They just called my cell phone - I did not pick up and they did not leave a message.

Got a call this morning. They left voicemail saying to call 800-220-0280 and refer to a message number. Yeah, not happening.

They will call anyone who may be related to someone that has a debt. It never ends. My brother got a call about an ex wife
