call FIDO

Just received this call.  Asked them to call back in 20 min & talk to husband.  But then I thought better, and ask the company name PC Wizards (once I understood the foreign accent of Tracy Brown), she gave me the 8589391002 #.  I asked where they are located and she said San Diego.

Received a call from Absent Number - person I spoke with gave me this 858-939-1002 number.  Indian accent said they were with PC Wizards and that is wasn't a sales call - just wanted to do a check up on my computer.  I would do the checkup and he would tell me what to do.  Sounds like a SCAM to me.  No new switch with phone service etc.  Called my cell.

I receieved a phone call exactly like the ones that have been mentioned, i knew there was something dodgy when the guy speaking could not answer any of my questions and hesitated. they are apparently doing it to many people so do not give any personal information out if you are unaware of who they maybe....it is a total scam!

I get at least 5 calls a day from this number. i dont answer as i dont recognize the number...i want it to stop. how do I

I just got a call from 858-939-1002. They statesd that I had won a $2000 debit card. All I needed to do is pay $49.95 for nrxt day delivery. Told them to deduct from debit card or send COD then hung up.

I had the same thing happen.  He had a thick accent and I could hardly understand him.  He was extremely rude and aggressive.  He asked about my "Windows Computer."  I began interrogating about which computer, how he received my phone number, who he was, etc.  When I told him I was on a no call list and to remove my number from his list, he refused.  He told me he wasn't going to do anything.  Extremely harassing telephone call.  How do we track them down and stop them?
