I have a suggestion, why don't you people just answer the damn phone when it rings instead of inquiry on this page

If you answer the phone, the caller then knows that it is a "good" number, worth calling again or selling to other folk who make the same spammy calls.
Come here to check it out and them block or designate as spam so that if they call again, you know not to answer.

Received at 5:09 p.m. Female stumbled over her own speech.  Said they were hired by my credit card company to conduct research on the quality of the call I made to them the day before.  Called my credit card company and they said they have no such service and do not sell their subscriber phone numbers.  Girl laughed through intro as if she was new. Hung up.

Called 2 nights in a row. 1st night I did not answer, no message left. 2nd night I answered to see who was calling me from Covington, KY. Called identified herself as being from Convergence Marketing. She then asked to speak to a male in the household that was age 18-34. When I told her I was not in that age group she asked how old I was. When I told her I was 61 she still continued. Her initial questions were about my local TV viewing habits. She then transitioned into other areas such as the cars I drove, where I bought groceries and which hospital I recommended. She did also ask about which bank I used which I did not answer. It seemed like I could not answer enough questions for her. I finally told her I had to go. She asked what would be a good time to call back. In hindsight I wish I had just hung up. Don't waste your time!

I followed up on the company/phone listed in the second post above, Convergence Research. That's not the same company and they don't do telemarketing according to one of the owners. The two companies are often confused. The real company is called Convergence Marketing and their direct number is apparently 443-688-5100. We get two or three calls a day from these scumbags.

Answered call and caller ID rendered caller as "unknown caller" from Covington, KY.  Caller spoke with an asian accent.  He said he was from "Dental Western".  That is not my dental provider.   He asked me to participate in a survey and I told him, not interested and hung up on him.  These calls are social engineering attempts to defraud victims.  I am certified in computer security through COMPTia.  Never respond to these types of attacks no matter how subtle they are.  A good rule to follow is that if the caller is unknown, then go no further and block the call.  I marked the call type as unknown because it was likely not from a legitimate survey company.

keeps  calling every day.  picked up the phone by accident and got a foreign male trying to sell something about medication    told to stop calling. hasnt helped

How I wish these people would find something better to do with their time other than call me at dinner time!  Oh, and worse, never leave a message.

I received a call from this # at 6:16 PM EDT on my cell phone. on 11/4/2016.  I was somewhere where I didn't want ANY calls, so I immediately turned my phone off.  Later, I looked to see who called, "unknown", & left no message.  I wish I could block the number, but it costs $5/mo with AT&T to block calls. I am ALSO on the "No Call List"...
