Basically the same as everyone else who commented. I just got a call from an Indian heavy accent female saying that she has an id number for me to go online to because they detected that my computer is infected with a virus. Very hard to understand. I said that makes no sense at all and who would be monitoring my computer if it's not from my internet service. I told her this sounds like a scam and she said she's trying to protect me from viruses and scams. I asked her what company she is with and she said PC Solutions. I said that I'm not with them at all and this has to be a scam. There is no way someone else would be monitoring my computer on their own. She then hung up on me because she knows that I know she's a scammer. Scam!!

The idiot that called me told me "my computer was being compromised". I asked him what my IP address was and he heard me clicking the keys and immediately hung up. Total scam.

They called me, a girl, and said my computer had some virus on it and she told me to pull up ctrl and r, a pop up box, and then transferred me to her tech support and then a guy answered and told me to get in front of my cpu. He asked me what i used it for. I told him my boyfriend and i use it to record ourselves having sex and then upload it on porn sites and we use it strictly for porn. he was baffled and i hung up.

I used to be a computer tech at a local college.  There is No way that your computer is going to notify some "Want to Be" Geek Squad Scammer about your computer unless you gave them permission to access it via your firewall.  I have a firewall and there is no way anyone can access my computer.  This woman calls me up to tell me that they detected a virus on my computer and wanted me to go to my computer to try to convince me of some lie? So, I started laughing & told her that this sounds like a Scam to me? As soon as I said this, she hung up on me, which is typical of a scam that has been busted.

Folks, don't be fooled by these people. They are liars and thieves that prey on people who dont understand computers and try to convince you to give them your credit card number so they can max it out your credit line before they hang up the phone.  Once they do this, you're screwed while they are sitting there laughing about how stupid you are!

They call me several times per week with the same Windows BS scam from different "burner" phones. I tell the guy to look out his window and he will see a Predator surveillance drone tracking his every movement. I tell him I know where he lives and I know where his wife is every moment of the day. Silly? Of course, but maybe if his wife comes home late one day, perhaps he will wonder if I had anything to do with it. They use Autodialers because my wife's cell phone rings shortly after they call me - her number having a higher numerical value. Congress must find a way to stop these scumbags because large numbers of elderly folks will fall for this scam. If you play along with the caller he will instruct you to type in an executable command line and he will have control of your computer.

Just got a call from this number.  I have a new boss and thought it was her, or I would have NEVER answered.  Said his name was Tom Atwood from PC Solutions about a virus on my computer.  I told him I didn't have a computer, had my employer's computer and they would have to address any questions to them...he never said MY name and got very rude as to how I got into THEIR system.  told them I had no idea, but that they are never to call me again, said a couple of choice words I save for scammers, and hung up, blocking the number.

Call started with a male voice in a recorded message, something about tech support. Then a woman with a thick accent (and boiler room noise in the background) said "Allo, I'm calling about a problem with your computer." I started speaking in Spanish and she hung up.

860-885-5399 called me twice. A young male with indian accent stated he was with PC solutions and that I was having problems with my computer. I do Not own a computer! Don't need one. I have a cell phone that does everything I need and lets me browse the internet when I want. I told the man to remove my # from their calling list of people to scam, for I do not have a computer and am not going to be his next victim. He started laughing and told me that I must have a computer. Wrong! Again I told him to remove my # and don't call me again. SCAM!!!
