THIS IS NOT A SCAM.  I called Wachovia from the number listed on their actual website, and they said this number belongs to their overdraft collections department, and transferred me to that department.  After some checking, it seems that my phone number was on the account of someone I had never heard of.  They removed the phone number from the account.  I was not required to give any personal information to get this done - I just hit "0" through all the phone prompts, instead of entering the account number or social security number that the robo-system asked for.  As I have a new cell phone, I suspect that the person who had the number before me is the one they want.

These are identity thieves.  I called Wachovia to report them.  They said they are aware of them and to NEVER give out account or social security information

This # calls and may be a pre-recorded message, (I don't stay on the line very long) or either hangs up. I have no clue who is calling or why, but want the calls to stop.

It is total bunk. I have an account with Wachovia. My suggestion call 611 and block their [***].

they call over 3 times a day, 7 days a week. they want me to pay them because my account that i closed is overdrawn. the women at the bank did not give me the right info. about closing my account. i tell them what happend at the bank and they won't help all they do is keep calling and telling me to pay and them they will help me.

This number is WACHOVIA.  It's their collections department.  That is why they are so cryptic.  They may be jerks, or whatever else, but it is a legitimate number.

It's annoying

This is totally a legit number. I have an account with them that is overdrawn and they are blowing me up. Although I have a good reason for the account to be overdrawn and it is being resolved through their "fraud & lost management team" they still call ALL day. Sucks to deal with but you have to take care of it eventually.

I am being harrassed with a MUSIC only voice mail message at my work number!!  There is never a human VOICE mail - I cannot call -- as in 50 years I have NEVER had an account was Wachovia - and if this is the recovery department - what are they attempting to recover from a non- customer.   Who do I call the MUSIC department????  They start their calling before 6am and calls well into the evening only playing MUSIC --NEVER A PERSON TO CALL BACK!   This bank is not legit and I would NEVER bank there even if I was paid to back with Wachovia and I tell almost everyone I know about their business practice that fall under harrassment and calling a place a business and never every leaving a HUMAN VOICEMAIL to attempt to call back!   The recovery department can call - starting a 5 am until 11 pm at a persons place of employment - and they DO NOT have ANY account - No wonder the banks are in trouble!

I am getting calls from this number daily and if I do answer it no one is there....ugh....

How do I get this number to stop dialing me?!  They leave no message!

Caller keeps calling every ten minutes and does not leave a message. Abusive caller.

I have been getting calls from this number for a couple of days.  Caller ID says Wachovia.  I went online and got the toll free number for Wachovia Bank and called them.  When I told them what number was calling they told me that it is their collection department probably about an overdraft.  I told them I don't have any accounts with Wachovia and never have had any.  They suggested I go into a local Wachovia Bank to make sure no one was using my social security number.  I told them that we don't have any Wachovia Banks in our town.  Anyway he took my number and is supposed to get them to stop calling me... but I won't hold my breath.  I just won't answer their calls.

They even call on Saturday and Sunday.  Sometimes 3 times an hour.  Complete disregard of FTC regulations about calling a customer's number.  I have received no letters or bills regarding this call like I asked them to send to me.  Please stop.  Mail me a letter explaining the problem.  JA

It is Wachovia as another person stated, my account too is overdrawn and that's why they are calling.
