Just received a pre-recorded call on my cell from this company stating "this is not a sales call". My credit is in good standing and I've had my cell number for over a year, but this is the first time I've received a call from this company. I'm not in the habit of sharing my cell number with anyone. I'm assuming they are on a fishing expedition.

I receive a call from these people about one a week. Thanks for all the postings, now I know it is not worthwhile to try to get them to stop calling. I will just keep sending them to voicemail.

They leave recorded messages daily. It begins "This is not a sales call. Please call Palisades at 866-230-8075," and gives their business hours. They'll call on Sunday night, but their business hours are stated as M-F.

I have been receiving calls from Pallisades for at least the last 6 months.  I never responded to their request.  After about 4 months, the calls kept coming but then in Spanish,(back to English now). Still did not respond as I had gone online and found all the complaints.  It has been about a week now and I have not received a call.  Better not hold my breath--received a call from 386-985-5500 today listed as "out of area".  Went right online and seems like about the same thing--a scam.
Was getting about 6 calls a week.

This is PowerSafe Collections AKA Palisades Collection LLC. They are using a different name because they are in the middle of a class action lawsuit (07-1398 Betty Baker and others vs Palisades Collection, L.L.C.) for doing the same thing.  Contact Michael Milby United States District Clerk, 515 Rusk, Houston, TX 77002 for more info.

These are unscupulous collection theives who buy very old (older than 4 years they cannot legally contact you as it is already in your credit report) ..they buy old debt for 3 cents on the dollar and use illegal methods to collect.  Usually the debt has already been settled and the company they purchased it from did not clear it, or  they really dont care..

Also. Many phones and cellphones now have Selective Caller Rejection, Search the internet on that term + your provider to see if you have it.  Usually it is *60  or *61 (confirmation tone) then you add the 10 digit number
