same here, two days in a row and I'm on a do not call list

calling me everyday, never leaving VM
When I do answer, they hang up

It's COGECO Credit Department...
Why don't you try calling that number back!
NO BIG MYSTERY

This number keeps calling me.  When I call back from cell phone, it cannot not be completed.  When I call back from landline, I get fast busy.  How can I get this to stop

I wish I could tell you but I have the same problem. I don't believe that it is Cogeco as I don't have them for any services yet the number they are calling is my cell phone. I have had 3 calls in the last 3 days. I see these as missed calls.

I am a current cogeco customer, for those of you that aint they might of been given the wrong extra call back number. All you gotta do is mis-aim your finger.

A man leaving messages on my phone claiming to be with the state of Maine wage garnishment office says he had papers from attorney general al to garnish my wages

8662329017 unknown caller,no message left. Started on the 12 of march 2029 call several times es a day all hrs and now 930am sat.  This time of yr scammers. If cogeco it would say cogeco  on display,leave message and be local  number. Called them.. it's not them. I too am on do not call list. U need to check ever so often as number on tat list only good for so many yrs then u need to really add urself.. in all my 11 yrs had my number never error have received call from this number and my number is restricted. So I know it's a scam.. never call back know numbers u don't know as u get caught in scams as they take over u line..

I had them call me today claiming i owe $300 and i do not it is all automatically paid thru a card all set up so i assume this is someone spoofing the number be wary of number calling better to get the phone number from the top of your bill and call that back ask them about your account owing not the number they provide cause it maybe be a scammer pretending to be them to get your credit card number always be wary it is very Easy for them to spoof a number to look like they are calling from a legit number. They called at 8:43pm, had the right name too, told them it was a "wrong number". People on this site said it was Cogeco, so I found there customer number on there website, called, asked if they used that number. They informed me that the number they use is 1-"800"-232-9017 not "866". and said it was someone probably trying to use a number close to theres to scam people.

Just reporting a call no one on other end

THIS is the second day in a row that 866-232-9017 has called our home phone number at around 9 am .  Display shows "account service".  I never answer a number I do not recognize. Checked on line and it appears to be associated with Cogeco.  WE don't even have any service with them . I read a comment on here that stated Cogeco would be an 800 number NOT 866.  I'm assuming it's some type of phishing scam.
