It is collect corp. American express uses them as a third party collection agency.

They called me this morning at 6:51 AM this morning.  I need to figure out exactly who they are so I can take legal action.

Called me 3times early in the morning, telling me to call because they have an urgent message for me.

Collector by the name of Mr. McPhee from 866-251-2396 ext 6485 has made several harassing phone calls all in violation of the FDCPA claiming some "important business matter" that has come to his office

Called at 8:31 AM on 4/9/2008. Message said to go to a "GE" web site about "my loan." I have no loan with ANYONE. The GE site made no reference to me, the call or a loan. I'm calling Vinnie and tell him to bring his bat.

they are calling and making harassing calls at my parent's house as well asking for me saying it is an urgent matter. What do they want???

Got a call from a Miss Robinson. She is the nastiest person on the planet. I wouldn't be so upset since I am at fault for being late, but these people from collect corp are the absolute worst. I can't believe American Express, first off, uses a Canadian company to collect debts, and secondly, use such nasty people. I don't care if I'm a multi-millionaire, i will never use American Express ever again.

This company have the rudest people in their company.  I will not work with these people.  She was very rude to my wife.  My wife finally hung up on her and then the [***] call 9 times again in succesion.  American Express if you reading this, I will not work with this [***].

This number called my cell early this morning asking to speak with a Theresa Johannson. When told that no-one lives here with that name and to never call me so early in the morning when I'm still in bed, the caller, who is named Miss. Robinson (same as previous comment), was very aggressive and threatened to send "heavies" to my house to recover whatever she wanted to keep for herself. I hung up, but she called back over 5 times one after the other so I turned my phone off.

I am sick of these people and will be seeking legal aid.

I'm having them call for a Morris Atland -- Apland? I'm not sure.
Anyway, I've never in my life met a Morris, let alone this guy.
It's really annoying. I don't want to bother answering the phone.

I worked at CC on Amex accounts for over 5 years. Newsflash people, Amex are the ones who want us to be so rude and harrassing! They hire 3rd party agencies so they have someone to blame when they get complaints, but nothing is ever really done about it.
The pressure put on the reps to collect is overwhelming. Imagine if they are speaking to you in such a manner, try to imagine how the supervisor hovering over them while they talk to you is speaking to them!
I am so glad i quit and i will never go back to collecting ever! Especially for AMEX!!

These f###ng criminals, they should be arrested.

Fight back.  Assume they will be rude.  Demand that they identify themselves.  Demand they tell you what is their problem.  If they say anything else "May i speak with..", "I'm calling because..."  tell them to shut up and answer your question, tell them you did not give them permission to ask questions, you ask questions and they answer, tell them you don't care why they call.  When they refuse to answer your question tell them "wrong answer" and ask you question again.  If they answer your question tell them to shut up and ask your question again...

nasty pushy attorney (aid he was) did id a person I know but I gave no info. They called back again today and this is several from this bunch of idiots. In Texas we have "ways of handing" this type of intruder. Just remember "The Alamo" for instance

A debt collector that keeps calling everyday for an employee this is not here.  They don't even have her name right.

Calls daily but never rings long enough for me to answer. Its freaking ridiculous. has called 4 times in the last 3 hours.
