I got call with message last two days, I called the guy today , he wanted my personal address and date birth, I refused to disclose any personal information via phone, then I said goodbye and hanged up the phone.

They've called me about every other day and always leave a voice message saying it's an important business matter and I should contact them right away. Very annoying, have no connection to them and it's dumb that they even have my number at all. Tried blocking the number but now it just goes straight to voice messages and it clogs up my voicemail if I don't check it enough. Wish it would stop already!

Is there low in this country this is so annoying they have been calling in middle of the night early morning looking for someone who my 90 year old mom has no idea about and she is not speaking good english...

Called everyday and left abrasive messages continually asking for my ex boyfriend. Called back and they never said who they were. The rep was a prick, Yet I kindly said im not my ex-b and they guy just hung up. Seems like a [***] place to work.

I get a call from this number (866-259-4317) every day on my home phone and on my cell. I blocked it on my cell by downloading  an app called mr number, its free. When I call this number back there is someone answering with a heavy accent an won't give me information on what kind of company he is working for or what their phone calls are all about unless I give my phone numbers again. I do not give out any information to them, and I suggest not to give information to them.

this number has called me everyday for a week now. they called me twice today. i took one of the calls and a sketchy voice recording answered. its borderline harassment. ive blocked the number hopefully the calls stop.

In Canada you only need to write a letter to any creditor to tell them to stop calling. They must comply.

So before you chose to treat your former coworker getting harassed by credit collectors like trash, did you stop for even a second to think that they like many others DONT ACTUALLY OWE ANY [***] MONEY, been getting harassed for years myself now for money that I dont owe by telus claimed i owed them for 5 months unpaid bills when the bills came out from my credit card automatically when they were due, AND 3 of those months were for after I ended service with them, others get called and harassed for money owed to shaw and bell despite NEVER HAVING BEEN WITH THOSE COMPANIES.

The number +1-866-259-4317 or 866-259-4317 is Collection agency. You don't have obligation to reply and discuss with them, no reply, no claim. Bit they calling very long. Best way to block this number.

Yes, i recieve the calls from same number and they said that i have a file under my name but I don’t know anything about it.

So what is your stance on amazing credit while still dealing with such calls?  I swear they call every similar named individual they can until they find someone willing to pay.  These companies, as the comments above also state, are harassing, in many cases, random people.  We also have laws against harassment in this country.
