Hey Wells Fargo, relax will ya? Lay off my damn phone. Your bill is paid to date so there is no reason to consistently call me. As a matter of fact, you have already cashed my mortgage check. Oh by the way, have you paid back my tax money from the bail out yet? If not, please post the WF executives so I may call them repeatedly during their dinner.

I get calls from this number, it is Wells Fargo. I do have a mortgage with them and I fell behind; however, I’ve been worked with a home counseling agency and Wells Fargo is aware of this and a payment has already been sent to bring my mortgage current, but they still call me everyday (every 2 hours). When they call, I answer and they ask the same questions all day. They verify my address, ask me if I intend to keep my home...etc. Each time I ask them to review the notes on my account and some of the reps will apologize, but others are just rude and continue to request a payment. By now they should have received the payment, but they have not acknowledged it. Their excuse for calling is that they have an automatic dialing system and the calls will continue.  When I'm not home, they call but don't leave messages. This is absolute harassment and I have decided not to answer anymore.

It is a legit thing, if your late on your mortgage...they will call you.  It's there collection division.  My VA benefits got screwed up so I am playing the juggle the bills thing...i talk to them every month.  

If you are being called and you don't have a mortgage...you might want to clear up the mistake rather than [***] about it on the internet.

Some one from Phone: 866-292-3933 calls my office and hang up in my face three to four times a week. Please stop calling.

Those folks that have posted above stating that we have nothing to worry about need to just shut up.  I have never had a bank account, mortgage, or any other type of financial service product from Wells Fargo.  It makes me think that those folks are just tools for the scam artists who are running this front.  I called Wells Fargo and they told me that I am not in Wells Fargo system.  Please remember that just because a phone number shows up on a Caller ID does not mean that is the original source of the calls.  If you are not in Wells Fargo's system--which means that at sometime you had a loan, mortgage, bank acct, etc. with Wells--then they will not call.  Odds are that phone call is a scam--specifically a phishing scam.  If you are really not a Wells client, which I am not, then block their calls using a web based phone call service.  It is free and easy.

Left message claiming they wanted to talk to me about my Wells Fargo Mortgage, but I don't have a Wells Fargo Mortgage.

It is Wells Fargo home mortgage. I do not have a mortgage through them, and they started calling my home phone # yesterday to collect mortgage payments for another couple. I called the number back, and received virtually the same voice instructions on how to access account information as on the regular Wells Fargo bank phone tree. Spoke to a rep (he never asked for my SSN, by the way), and told him about the erroneous phone calls. He put me on hold, then removed my phone number from their call records.

good luck with that my number is unlisted and this particular number calls me at least 10 times a day. We dont answer unidentified numbers...

I have now gotten some many calls from these 'Wells Fargo" types, I can't add up to that high a number. Just kidding. I did answer once, got a request for ssn and loan number and invited them to tell me what they had. They refused and hung up on me.

This is Wells Fargo calling to recieve payments on late mortgage. Even after you tell them your payment is late and you lost your job they still call 5x a day!

Just cause this is a known number for Wells Fargo does not make it a legit call. Your caller ID's can be manipulated to show a number that is legit but that doesn't mean the person on the other end it legit. Do not give info to these people, if it is legit they will be OK will you calling them back, and then call them at a number you know is accurate.

Finally!  They stopped calling me!!!!

Since they called my google voice number, i've been ignoring their calls.  They eventually stopped calling.  I believe the app on my phone, which also blocks them from calling my real number, has caused them to stop calling me there too.

It"s a scam trying to get personal information.  Too bad the 'Do Not Call" doesn't to its job!

They called me 5 times in one day, no messages were left. I called back and it was Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I told them that I didn't have a loan with them, and they took me off the call list. No problem.

i called the number back. i do not have any business with Wells Fargo. i told them to stop calling or i will file complaint with the attorney general. they said they would remove my number. i did not give them any info. i agree that do not call list does not work good.

Yep, same situation.  I was late one time when I tried to refinance with another company because Wells Fargo refused to and they have not stopped calling since.  I am not late now!!  Wells Fargo - STOP!

Yeah this number is for a third party collection, they do it for Wells Fargo and since I am one who pays within the grace period I always get calls, which they try and get personal informaiton from me, I once asked the women give me yours and I will give you mine....I also told her that my payment is NOT late or I would be paying the late fee as stated on my statement. She said that it would be reported to the credit bureaus, I told her not unless it is 30 or more days....and since it was much less then that to take her threats somewhere else.  Besides is Wells Fargo so hard up that they call people who pay within that 15 day grace period every month?  Maybe I should re-finance with someone else....

I have same situation with WF. Even I can make payment I want to let go the house , Reason- My mortgage with .I don't like WF. When I bought my house I got mortgage from Prime lending not WF. 2 month later WF bought my mortgage without my signiture , knowlegde.
