This number called me and tried to confirm who I am but I kept asking who they were and he wouldn’t answer the question then hung up. Mans voice on the other end.

Well, they should probably train their CSR's better but its Merrick Bank calling on past due credit card bills.

CALLER ID SAYS DEBT COLLECTOR.  LEFT NO MESSAGE.  OWE NO DEBTS.  MUST BE SCAM.

So that's who it is! I do have an account with them, but I'm paying it down and it's not due again for two more weeks! They open with "I am calling about your account." They do not identify themselves or where they are calling from, and when you ask them who they are or what account they are referencing, they just say "YOUR ACCOUNT," like you're an idiot and you only have one account in creation for anything ever. You don't know if they are your dentist, your bank, your office supply company, nothing. Just "YOUR ACCOUNT."

But the best part is that I'm paying my bill down and my next payment isn't due for two more weeks. They also call you during the dinner hour. I'm blocking their number. In two weeks my account will be current and then they can go pee up a tree.

This number calls at least every 2 hours. No message.
