I get about 9 calls a day, every day, from this number, in Spanish, and one call after another for hours. This started in the middle of July and is still going on.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone and have been late and woke me up.

who cares if it eats up their mins.  its our money anyway.

Keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number that is linked to the San Diego Detention Center. Each time they leave a chopped up message. Finally had to report it to my cell phone carrier to have it blocked.

I got over 15 calls on my cell phone from this number, all in the span of an hour and half. My voicemail is now full of automated messages in Spanish.

Interestingly, this happened after I reported several numbers for telephone scammers earlier tonight. Weird.

I am receiving unwanted calls from this number and when I tried to tell them to stop calling, it was a recording.

Communications and is located in Selma, Alabama.  Thanks to
Congressional members geting payoffs we are stuck with them.
An FBI comment was they are legal, but they operate like they
were gangsters, Beware!

Who called me

These calls are from a company called Telmate, that handles calls for inmates in several correctional facilities. I was getting 6 or 7 calls a day, and the messages were all in Spanish. Since I don't speak fluent Spanish or know any inmates, the person was just calling my number by mistake. If you call the number back, you can talk to a Telmate customer service rep and they will block your number from that inmate. It took 2 minutes to fix the problem and you don't have to have your carrier block the number.
