Box 1508 Chandler AZ when I told him this was scam I hung up on him and he called back yelling at me.

Ok so I'm getting this call from Benchmark Service 8663505447 about a loan that I was supposed to have gotten 7 years ago. Ok not to put my business out there but I can't get a loan, I can't even get a credit card because my mom screwed up my credit. How did these people get number and address.

Gonna say scam… gave me 2 different numbers… 250 & 350.

These people call me left a message saying they are from benchmark services. I called them right back, and a lady answered the phone. she says that I owe $4000 on a payday loan that I took out with cash and go payday loan service. Said that they would settle for $800. All I have to say is that I don’t know anything about a payday loan and I’m not paying a damn thing. I don’t know what’s up with these scammers, but they just think that they can call someone and claim they owe money for something they don’t know about . Like I’m just gonna pay money because you say I owe money. Scammers, keep on dreaming.

Well, yes that is what they do and they keep trying until they find someone they can scare into paying.

IDk how or where these people got my information but its about a payday loan.  This is my second go around with them.  The first supposedly happened in 2009 couldnt tell me where or provide anything except $800 something dollars.  Now Im getting another call - spoke with them yesterday.  I never got a pay day loan.  But they have my Social Security Number.  They wont tell me any information except the account was placed with them in 2020 and supposedly this pay day loan happened in 2010-2012 in Maryland.  And gave my information for where I live now which isnt even where I lived back then - I wasnt even in the state of Maryland !!! Now not to but my business out there - but WHY would someone who brings home $6k per month, owns a $750k home etc need a damn pay day loan for $800?  LMFAO  These people are bonkers.   Reporting to FTC.

The FTC does not take debt collection complaints since those complaints are handled by the CFPB.

They keep calling me and the first call i got i got as much info out of her as possible. Found out the supposed place the payday loan check was cashed and called them. They had no record of me cashing a check there. She also couldnt give me legal documents sayin i owed this and was being sued.

they just called my phone about legal documents.I never had a loan and would never need one.
they said I need to pay for this loan . I said where is paperwork and who and where and when but no information was givin

I got a voice-mail saying that I missed 80-100 Mediation Attempts and that I needed legal Representation and to call that this was the last attempt.  First of all you don't say my name right.  And I've never taken any loan out. I've worked my whole life. Have income why would I.

This has happened to me too but i'm more curious to see how you can afford a $750k home on only 6k per month! You need to tell us your secrets because I dont know many that could pay a mortgage that high and other bills on only 6k per month.

I believe it’s a Scam call looked up the 866-350-5447 it’s not a reliable source. I never answered them ! I don’t owe anything and the male voice never says anyone’s name that need to call?? Send a letter I say !

Same stuff with me. I have excellent credit and no credit card debt at all. I make 150k a year. WTF would I be doing taking out a payday loan in 2008? There is nothing on my credit report, and my credit files are all locked. I like calling them back and telling them they are all a bunch of grifters... Get a real job and quit scamming people.

Pre-recorded message stating this is a call from Benchmark Services and to call back regarding a legal open case. Called from 650-309-1124, but in VM stated to call back at 866-350-5447. I did some research and came to find out this is a scam trying to collect on payday loans. I've never taken one out. Do not call back, just block
