- Twilla P.Yes this is a debt collector for providence hospital. I agree with all of the above. They call all the time but they never leave a message. If they would like to leave a message then maybe I would return their calls.l do not answer or return calls from people I don't know as enough sales people call that I avoid. If they don't leave a message I am assuming they are just trying to sell something. I have never talked to anyone so do not know about them being rude but it is considered rude in my book to call someone and not leave a message. Why did they call in the first place if they aren't going to leave a message? I don't answer calls if I don't know who it is but I will return a call if a message is left to take care of business. I think with this business not being BBB accredited says a lot right there. I have yet talked to anyone there but when they leave a message I will be glad to talk to them if they behave themselves on the phone.

- bobPretends to be a collection agency for hospitals, really just identity theft.
Always call number on your last medical bill received in the mail. Never give info to anyone calling you. Many scams can easily go to a prank website and have a company's phone number show up on your caller I'D while they call you from their phone and steal your information.- Caller: identify theft

- WhittI'm only 14 and they keep calling me. I haven't answered it yet and I don't know if I should. Some people said in the reports that its a dept collection agency but yet I'm a minor. What's with these people?!?
- Caller: That remains a mystery....
- PatriciaAfter reading all the comments about this number, they better hope I don't answer the phone. I am in no mood to deal with rude nasty people looking to collect a debt I shouldn't even owe.
- Caller: HAS management
- Ron| 1 replyThis number has been calling us twice every day for the last 5 months! They call between 9 and 10 am and again between 4 and 6 pm. I stopped answering their calls 4 1/2 months ago. It's always a machine never a real person so telling them to stop calling is pointless. Looks like we are going to have to change our number.

- Idaho replies to RonPeople...since they never leave a message and I'm guessing almost all of the people on here have a cell phone, set your phone to ignore the call. It will send it directly to voice mail, which you will never get, because they don't leave messages. Really a simple solution. If you are still paying for a home phone instead of a cell phone, that is just plain silly. You bought a computer didn't you? It is now 15 years into the new century. Drop your home phone. silly Wabbits
- Tracy replies to KC CHANDLER| 1 replyDebt collectors can call twice in a row if they do not leave a message. Once a message is left, it is considered a contact

- sarah replies to TracyDebt collectors can actually call 30 times daily! Unless they leave a message or identify their organizational affiliation. However, most companies limit this, for example Capital One only allows 15 calls a day.
Per FDCPA. I was a debt collector for quite some time. - Wuteva U. Thnkup replies to akgirl| 1 replyG'day mates. Here's uh lil tip fer ya. Say your a actress or an actor. Now think up name first and last. Just like you do in lots of video games. this is your character, this is who you really ah. You're char must be looking for someone and that someone needs to have a first name and a last name. Instead of the traditional Mr. or Mrs., use something like Dr. Blah Blah. Act like you're char that is in search of said Dr. is only expecting a call from the number that is showing up on the caller ID. When you get into that mindset, go with the flow. Act paranoid because they refuse to give you the person that you have manifested...start a conversation with the person on the other end of the phone. Ask them personal information. Ask about their family, their vacation, if they have kids or not, how old they are. That type of stuff. You throw them off enough, they will either take you off of their mailing or calling list, or they will transfer you to their supervisor. Then you can create a whole new character and scenerio that will blow their minds and never want to call you again.
- Okay replies to Wuteva U. ThnkupOr if your handset or your landline has a call barrer/blocker just do that. It's easier in the real world. You need you get out more ,mate.
- unlisted /unpublishedThese people keep calling me without having identified what the account was for when I asked, the Man was very abrupt and rude,so I simply hung up.this company always had shown as unknown, so after #13yes#13 of these calls during the day, I called our local police department, spoke with the desk sergeant who instructed me to mark the number as unknown and I could put it in the phone as a blocked #.I just don't answer any # I do not recognize or that I'm not expecting.

- ErikaCall but don't leave a message
- JessicaThey call several times a day. Never leave a message. Can't call them back if they don't leave a message. Very irritating.
- TammyCall every 2 days. Finally answered and she demanded me to give my birthday and social security. Told her I don't give that out over the phone. She still tried to get it to verify who I am...how stupid do they think I am! Hung up and she called back asking for my husband. Let her know he wasn't here she insists I have him call her! Told her we are unemployed so they wouldn't get nothing!
- Caller: Health assessment

- tkkrIf you're like me, you are on this page because you just dealt with an extremely aggressive call. When she asked for someone and asked me to give my birthdate, I refused and asked who she was. She got IRATE and yelled that I give her my birthdate and "millions of people have the same birthdate it's not sensitive information. The year is..."
Click. Nope.
Not sure why I got this call - I'm not in collections for anything (a providence hospital?? Huh?). Guys, no one should call YOU and ask YOU to prove who you are. Seriously. Don't play. These people are heinous degenerates aggressively harassing anyone who picks up a phone. I'm reporting to BBB - if you got this call, you need to as well.- Caller: Caller refused to give her name or affiliation

- MontanaI received a phone call from this number this evening. A women asked to speak with me. She did indicate the call was bring recorded. I advised that the name she gave was correct. I then asked what the call was regarding. She said that it was s personal matter and requested me to verify my date of birth. I explained I do not give that kind of personal information out over the phone. She then said give me your month and date and I will tell you the year. I then asked what what this call was pertaining to. She said, once again, that it was a personal matter. I educated her that, again, I did not give oersonsl information out. The next thing out of her mouth was that she was not going to play this game with me!! Unbelievable!!!!!!!! Needless to say I have blocked them. If it is that importsnt they call send correspondence through the mail. If they were nicer and have more info that would help with the conversation. As it is the phone call lasted about 30 seconds.

- Ticked OffI got a call from this number. I did not recognized this number so I did not take the call. Cross checking this number shows that it belongs to an agency that does collections for medical bills. Odd enough, the number that was dialed is to a business issues cell phone, not my personal number. Based on the number showing in caller id,,this is from Health Services Asset Management, call type is unknown since I did not answer the call.

- TerryI don't know who is paying these callers, but they need to be provided a list of area codes. I realize they are a collection agency for Providence hospitals and that means nothing here in Canada, We have never been to any of their hospitals in the USA and if we had, the bill would have been paid there. We are on a do not call service, so why are they calling?
