i hot this call I received almost 15 calls in the past 2 day from this number.When I answer, there is hang up.

This is not a debt collector, it is a scam.

no friends number... so ignore it

Called Sunday afternoon, recorded message said please hold for an important phone call, did not properly identify self, hung up.

I'm have been getting phone calls from some moron who cannot speak English I finally figure out he said PayPal something about a bill is not paid. I checked my PayPal account and it shows set my balance is zero I paid PayPal at the same time that I purchase  I towed this moron for our five times to stop calling me that I did not owe PayPal's.

If this is a collection agency stay need to get someone who can speak English after talking to someone in the USA

Credit card companies in my husband's first wife's name have been calling my house asking for her. Our names are fairly similar, and, of course, the last name is the same. These are not cards that my husband owned jointly - those were all closed during their divorce. However, we have been married nearly 15 years and live in Texas. She lives in Indiana. Apparently, they must google or some other search to find home phone numbers. I think it is collections based on how they treat me until they find out I'm not who they are looking for and all of the pertinent information they have (SS, birth date).

A woman called and asked someone'name

Received a call from this number last night at home (home number is listed under my boyfirends name as it is his house) they asked for my ex husband - I told them they had the wrong number - I have been divorced for 7 years and have no idea where he even is I am calling them back to give them my ex's dad's name and number they can call him. this is bull

This telephone number calls me at 8 am e.s.t and 8pm e.s.t- At points they call 5 times on Sundays.

Calling my 12 year old daughter's phone.  Idiots.

NOTE TO TELEMARKETERS AND PHONE SCAMMERS:
I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, with no caller id info, etc.

I assume that any one of these unknown numbers/callers will leave a message if they are legitimate, and if they do not, I look up their phone number on these types of websites.  If they are on one of these sites I promptly  block them (my phone will do this -- Panasonic model).

If they are not on a site, I give them one or two more opportunities to leave a message and then I block them.

This is a horrible invasion of my privacy and my family's privacy, as well as an economic burden, since my husband and I both use our home phones as well as business phones for business and therefore could possibly lose business in our efforts to evade people who are using the phones WE PAY FOR to scam and bother us!!!!

Happened to me too. Called and asked for someone else. When I said "you have the wrong number", they asked "Do you know her?" like NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS THIS ISN'T HER NUMBER even if I did know her... which I'm pretty sure I don't. Annoying. -_-

No caller ID. Didn't leave msg  

I was receiving calls on my cell from this 866-419-2780 number (no message left) and 800-654-0520 (message left- from GE Capital/Synchrony, re: my Lord & Taylor card).  When I called the 866 number, the automated voice didn't identify what company it was, just asked for my SSN, so I hung up after pressing "0" a few times. The 800 number was legit- the auto-voice said it was GE Capital for Lord & Taylor.  I spoke to a very nice woman who mentioned something about a past due amount on my card.  I told her that the I just received a bill 2 wks ago that isn't due for another few days, and it's the only one I've received so there shouldn't be any "past due amount"; and that the payment would actually be posting today (I pay bills online).  She then looked up my account and figured out the problem- apparently I bought something on the last day of the previous billing cycle; I wasn't billed until the current billing cycle (and thus, no bill was sent to me until this cycle), but since the purchase itself was made in the previous one, their crappy automated system thinks I didn't pay on time.  The funny thing is that as soon as she looked at my account and the dates of the purchase & when the bill was sent to me, she said "anyone looking at these dates should've easily figured out that you hadn't received a bill and shouldn't be receiving these late payment calls".  She apologized profusely and removed the late fee that had apparently been added to my account.

This number continues to call me on my home and cell phones. They leave messages claiming to be with "Old Navy Credit Card Services". I don't and have never owned a card from Old Navy. How they got my number, I do not know. I do know they refuse to stop calling my numbers!

I receive several phone calls everyday from this number. The person calling never leaves a message. I finally answered the phone and the person was very rude. First of all my name is not Juan, nor do I have a Arco credit card. It's really irritating that this company starts calling every morning at 8:00.

They call with the same message, using my first name or my first & last name stating they're from Synchrony Bank. (Walmart Credit Card Company) I called one of their other numbers & found out it's a scam + they don't leave a message all of the time.
