Apparently I won $50,000 in a sweepstakes I don't even remember entering...LOL

Got a call saying I won $50,000 in a sweepstakes I entered within the last 18 months. Caller ID says bill benteley.

Got several calls from this number, by different people saying "Congratulations, you have won a sweepstakes!" First few calls, it was a $25,000, then the most recent said I won  $50,000. When I call back, it just rings like 50 times and n one answers. Assuming it's a gib scam!

Received message from "Randy Bentley" from Prize Distribution Center. Generic Voicemail stating "congratulations, you have won a prize from a contest someone in your family has entered, call back to claim your prize". This is a SCAM. Would like to see these clowns busted, shut down and prosecuted to the max.

i just recieved a call from a randy bently stating i won 50,000 cash i called the number back to cuss them out they said please hold and no one ever got back on....wish these people would STOP!!!

Got a message to call 866-430-3177 and the # on my phone was 312-962-0222, guys name was Randy Brinkly from Official Notification Company, said I had entered a contest for $50,000 and he has good news for me to call the 866# & congratulations...........glad I got on web and looked up before I called back!!!  Not saying that $50,000 wouldn't be awesome ............ But for some reason I knew it was too good to be true!!  
I hate SCAM artist!!!

I received a call from Randy Brinktly also sying that I must call back. No extenstion given an operator had me on hold for over 10 minutes. Tried calling back after 5:00 and all mailboxes are full so I came here to inform others.

8-9-2012   Received a call/message from a 'Randy Bently of the Official Notification Center' regarding the $50,000.00 contest I had entered awhile back.  He said that he had fantastic news and to call 866.430.3177.  His voice was very believable in excitement for the person he was calling.   On my end I'm asking what contest? Official notification center of what/where?  No, I didn't return the call.

I got the same thing.....Randy Bently saying I won $50,000.00 I wish! Warning bells going off, I googled the # instead of calling. I'm glad I did!

Thanks you have picked a good number to call this time now we will see how much money its going to take you to get out of this [***], first Iam on the do not call list secound Iam a judge of my word.

Got the same message Good news about the 50,000 sweepstakes I enetered sometime in the last 18 months.  Call back the 1800 number toll free and Congrats.  Good thing i looked up the number instead :)

scam!  I got the same message about 50,000 prize and to call the toll free 1800 number.  I looked up the number instead and found all of the other victims. Get a real job losers.

I got the same call , but they said I won 50.000 and his name was Randy Benfrey

I didn't think it was legit but called and googled just in case & look what I found! Same story as everyone here. I won a $50,000 cash prize blah, blah. Call back on toll free number blah blah, Congratulations.

Called got the greeting, rings rings rings...no answer. Shocking.

I have received these phone calls for over 1 year. First the message was from Randy Bentley at the Prize Award Center then later same voice but different names,different businesses and different phone numbers. Today I have a message from Tim McDermid (same voice as Randy Bentley) at the Official Notification Department and this contest is for an Escalade. The prizes have been getting less valuable over the year so the next call will probably be for a toaster.
I have called back and spoken to the same women most often who ask if they have my address and phone number correct and then she tells me I will hear from them again at the end of the year. The last time I returned one of the calls a man answered the phone and said congratulations,we will call you back and hung up.
I knew from the first phone call this was some sort of scam because I had not entered the contest but I have called back out of curiosity to see what they want. The woman did have my address and phone number which surprised me but she did not ask for more information.

Called and left a message that I won $25,000 from a sweepstake I had entered and to call back at 1-855-545-7293 to verify my info is correct. Callers name was Piere. Didn't call back as I know I'm not actually lucky enough to win something. Interesting he never mentioned what drawing I had entered .. scam for sure..

Just got called by this number (866-615-3177) on my cell phone!  No-one answered me when I repeatedly said "hello".  I called back 866-615-3177 to have a "white" girl clearly say "hello" when she picked up the phone.  I told her she just called me and she HUNG UP on me!!!
