I just received a call from this number also. Spoke to Sandra martinez I think the name was. Saying I'm bring sued for an old account from 12 years ago. Still sounds like a scam from some of the information they were saying.

They called me to, AND called harassing my family.  BTW my family has never been listed as a contact for any contract I have. Same thing case # etc.  I called back and demanded their official business name, license #and physical address.  They refused stating it would be in the court documents when I’m served and because I was rude to them.  18664917917

This is the Google transcript of the voicemail left prior to them calling my mother's cell phone looking for me. My mother answered the phone since it was a "local" number - different than the one that called me - and the woman told me they sent me a notice in the mail two weeks ago. The only mail I've received is my tag renewal, Kroger coupons, and my makeup order ********** "This is an urgent message intended for [redacted] I'm calling it regards of a complaint notice schedules will be filed at Madison County and delivered to your residents at the [redacted] and the complaint number reads 1939012. Attention if you are unavailable to receive and sign the legal documents being delivered to your current residence or place of employment it is critical that you contact the issuing office immediately at 866-491-7917 greatly introduce some of your results in the matter proceeding without your input or consent this requires your immediate attention today consider this your official notice"

Called my mother's phone looking for my husband, from a number local to my mother's phone number (she lives in the same state as me, now, but still has her old number) When I called back for information, like businesses info, they refused to give it to me because I wasn't my husband. I look them up online and see NOTHING with their business name.

No legitimate debt collector or attorney would act this way.  For one thing, they refuse to say the name of their company or law firm.  I think they are fake and probably scammers.  And they threaten to file a lawsuit against you.  It is a violation of federal laws (FDCPA) to threaten to file a lawsuit against a debtor if you do not actually intend to file that lawsuit.  It appears that all they do is make phone calls and threaten to sue people, but they do not actually follow through with a lawsuit because they are not a real law firm.  Just a call center with some very rude people in it.

§ 1006.26 “(b) Legal actions and threats of legal actions prohibited. A debt collector must not bring or threaten to bring a legal action against a consumer to collect a time-barred debt.”
