A computer generated female voice tells me that if I'm not Patricia Trimberger don't answer because they will be discussing important private info with this Patricia lady. They tell me to call 866-494-9902. I Googled the # and found it to be a debt collector. I tried to call them back, but after sitting on hold for 1/2 hour I hung up. I have an almost perfect credit score and I don't use charge cards. I don't owe anyone that I haven't paid monthly. (on time always)for that matter! Why are they trying to say I owe someone and they need to send a debt collection agency after me??? Weird!

I spoke with the company they are a credit collection agency Hunter Warfield and they were calling me about a past due amount from an old apartment complex I used to live in. I proved that I was paid in full and didn't owe anything.

bill collector. based on earlier post, it could be from old apartment that I left in immaculate condition and they still try charging me after I left and my lease was up... not 100% sure that's what its for.

YES EXACTLY. Happened to us too. we left the apartment in better condition than when we moved in and they still tried charging us.

They keep calling me for someone else. I tried to tell them this is my personal phone and the person they are looking for isn't me. The lady hung up on me but they still keep calling got to the point they don't leave messages but still call and annoy

Collection agency to be precise, trying to collect money that they say I owe from an appt I rented many months ago. They are wrong and call me all day every day. I registered my number on the Do not call list.

You all need to BLOCK this phone number - that'll solve the problem!  I wouldn't even engage in conversation with a disreputable company like this.  They have a bad rating with the BBB.  If you DON'T block them, then you deserve to be pestered!

I blocked them. It rings a half ring -- just enough to disturb me, but they keep calling every single day. Not the brightest bulbs on the tree, are they? They are known for their harassment.

We rented an apartment while are home was being build and when we left I had the carpet shampooed and left it clean and  the complex kept $750 worth of deposits. Now they are charging me because they say it was not clean BS, its a deal they have with the apartments to take advantage of the clients. I called the the apartment complex for an explanation and they could tell what happened. Now they are harassing my 18 year old son that because he was there and he was 18.

Never say yes this me when they call for you by name. this can take a debt from several years ago and make it current to try and collect on it for a few more years. Also, remember that a collections agencies have paid pennies on the dollar for your debt. so always make a settlement on the debt and make sure they delete the account if you pay. I recommend that you use a professional company to send the letters and mediate the pay for deletion. As a person that has no knowledge of the process, the collections agencies will screw you. I learned this lesson the hard way and now use a reputable credit repair agency to fight the collections and credit bureaus. I used a local company racenterprises.net

Same here.  My son's apartment at college, when he was moving out I asked was there anything owed, it was like $40.  I paid that and I said are you sure there is nothing else.  No, nothing else.  And now they are calling.  I think they are just trying to get money.
